Bed HeadParticipantFor the 98% of the people here who couldn’t care less, I apologize in advance. However, just to clear up the confusion over my relationship with "m0sc0w1te"/"MarshMelo" …
As I said before, I’m 26, have bad hair, and (on occasion) even worse BO. I’ll add that I’ve been psychiatrically committed twice. And definitely have Asperger’s Syndrome. Probably a mild sociopath as well (no concrete diagnosis yet). Meaning I’m unable to empathize with others, or display sincere sympathy for their suffering. Oh, and the first 19 times I drank Dr. Pepper, I threw up shortly after. Yet, amazingly, it’s now my absolute favorite soft drink!
Wow. That really wasn’t a very good "catfish", was it? I’ll totally need to work on that.
As for my boyfriend … stunningly enough, "m0sc0w1te"/"MarshMelo" is not actually Russian. (I know, shocking.) He’s a 22-year-old NYU student from Philly. However, his true calling is graffiti art (we met at The Met, ironically). And while he is in fact "black", he’s roughly about as "gangsta" as Urkel.
Or, on the other hand, this entire post could be a lie (for reasons apparent to no one). So, with that in mind, here are a few other possible scenarios (we came up with):
MarshMelo and I are a couple, but I’m a "he", and he’s the "she".
We are both the same person, and that person is Bill Cosby.
He’s human, I’m some sorta super-intelligent chipmunk who types on a tiny laptop. (I hated this one, and told him it was stupid, but he insisted.)
P.S. When you Cro-Magnons see Katie Nolan hosting a FOX Sports 1 show, or Allie LaForce moderating a weekly all-women’s sports panel on CBS Sports, do you assume they must be transvestites?
P.P.S. The extreme gender imbalance on this forum is a serious issue, btw. Not trying to make light of it.

You know I had a neighbour who was a chimpmunk, but she was like in this terrible relationship with a housecat, it was bad, I think eventually she had to move away… I’m not sure… I’ve not seen her in a while.

I’ve been lurking these fourms for years, and I’ve not really seen alot of sexism here. You keep posting about how you’re a girl, and how thats so innovative, and how people look down on you, well frankly I really don’t see it. And for gender imbalance, I have no idea how it is where you live, but in my circle, I’m the only girl I know who cares about the draft. And frankly for me its the most exciting part of basketball to see who goes where. But back on topic, you can’t really expect to have gender balance… its like going to shoujo manga forum and complaining about there not being many boys… it just doesn’t work that way. However I am sure there are plenty of girls here, just just don’t scream it at every corner, and try and use the fact they are girls for special treatment or likes on their posts. I mean the only thing I’ve seen that was pretty offensive being a girl, was really that Rip post yesterday about the lingerie league. Seriously Tho Bedhead… chill out, you’re a girl so what who cares, everyone is allowed to like basketball, and everyone is allowed to post. You don’t have to constantly reaffirm your gender… Sorry but, the constant speeches about being a girl really started to irritate me… And I’m sure I’m not the only girl here who feels this way…. As for the amount of women on these boards, I’ve known at least 15 others since I’ve started using this site. They are of course significantly more discrete. Bedhead, I enjoy a lot of your actual basketball posts but when you go on these rampages it’s just annoying and really has the reverse effect you’re going for. As Aria said, chill out, no one cares about your gender.
