TrillaParticipantEach year we get situations in which some big name players either eventually force their way out through a trade (Love, Dragic) or players traded due to cap situations (Harden, Reggie Jackson, Rudy Gay.) I know we have a potential similar situation with Demarcus Cousins, but what other guys do you think could be traded as the year goes on due to something similar? There are a few teams out there with assets in need of a big name.

DolanCareParticipantThere’s still a good chance Bledsoe might be moved. I couldn’t tell you where but if he was on the trade block in June, he’ll be on the trade block in August as well.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI don’t know if he counts as a big name player, but I think it’s only a matter of time before Ty Lawson is dealt. Due to his recent DUI, the Nuggets might have to sell low on him, but it’s becoming increasingly more clear that Emmanuel Mudiay is their point guard of the future. I’m sure Denver would love to add a top 5 pick in the upcoming draft too and would rather have Mudiay at the realms of a developing team rather than Lawson leading a mediocre team this season.

Magic JordanParticipantIf by big name we mean top 10 then I am inclined to say one of the Thunder boys. It seems crazy to think about especially because it seems the organization is finally pushing their chips to the middle of the table coincidentally Durant’s free agent to be season? I think they are finally in panic mode aka holy shit if we don’t start spending money Durant might leave mode.
It would be absolutely insane to see one of the two get traded during this season…..but in my head at least it would also be equally as insane if Presti ended up or was even willing to roll the dice on losing such a huge asset for nothing.
