    Can I get some love for Russ Smith on here??? The dude was absolutely incredible the whole entire summer league and put the team on his back when it mattered most with two game winning shots. I would love to see him get some actual minutes in Memphis this upcoming year but with them picking up Udrih’s option I don’t know if that’s something that’s going to happen. I really think Russ could end up being a great sparkplug off the bench for a playoff team and I hope he gets a chance sometime this upcoming year.

     Griz fans (especially on the message boards) are really liking him.

    I think he will have a spot.  Andrew Harrison hasn’t shown much so look for Russ to be the 3rd string point/change of pace option at guard.

    You almost want a guy like that to be your 6th man.  He can give your starting point guard a rest and run the offense, AND he can score and attack the rim.

    Russ Smith did what he had to do.

    I would like to see some quicker rotations this season with Russ Smith, Jordan Adams, Jeff Green, Jarell Martin, and Brandan Wright.
