kobyzParticipantKobe and Jordan Clarckson for Marcus Smart, Wallace, James Young, Evan Turner… Kobe gets to play on a playoff team instead wasting his final year or two, Lakers get upgrade over Clarckson in Smart and more promise backcourt with him and Russell, and some more cap space…

he_gets_bucketsParticipantApart from the obvious absurdity of the Lakers ever trading Kobe, especially this late in his career, why the hell would Boston do this?

treytalkssports.comParticipantDon’t be fooled by PPG on a losing team. Somebody has got to score. Jordan Clarkson, for all his size and athleticism, was quite possibly the worst defensive guard in the league last year.
Smart was the best defender and a driving force behind a team that finished 24-12 last year. He was admittedly one-dimensional offensively, but he did contribute on both sides of the court.
Smart also struggled with an ankle injury during most of the season last year, which limited his explosiveness on drives.
Smart is two years younger, with similar length, with similar quickness, and with elite strength at the guard position. I think Smart could look like alot better offensively this season.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantWhy bring in a cancer? And the most expensive cancer at that.
Boston wants to win. Kobe can’t help you with that.

mcgee555ParticipantThat is ridiculous. If you are trying to become the most negged poster, you have a long ways to go to catch DNYCE.

Bad DogParticipantThat’s a thought………Or better yet how about they convince Travis Knight to come out of retirement and then the Lakers can trade him and the ball boy to the Celtics for draft rights to Ben Pepper (2nd round in 1997) and a pair of Antione Walker’s used shoes.

Lotto StudParticipantKobe Bryant himself will walk out on life before he is ever captured in a jersey outside of Purple & Gold.

ExumInfernoParticipantThe no-trade clause, Kobe stops it.
How much he costs, the Celtics stop the trade.
If the Lakers and Bryant did decide to end things and move along, maybe only the 76ers would make a little sense, for room for his money and a reason for him to go there. But only a little sense.
