DeMarre Carroll has reached a 4 year, 60 million dollar agreement with the Toronto Raptors. He tweeted the news out himself.

  15M will be the new 10M/year. When the new cap comes into play people will like this signing more.
  He addresses needs, adds toughness and plays hard.
  Great signing! I was hoping we’d get him all summer..

Great fit! Im happy for D-Carroll
The Raptors needed a 3, as we all know T.Ross is a 2 and more of a bench player. Carroll can play lock-down defense and shoot the 3 ball

I read an article that says Ujiri doesn’t want to give DeRozan a max extension, thus making him available. This move might have something to do with it.

I’m really excited about this signing. To be honest didn’t even see it coming, I thought they would throw their money on a pf first. Like Monroe, millsap or west. But Carroll is exactly player Toronto needed. A solid 3 and D guy who played well in this year in playoffs. He also can bring some leadership to this team that will hopefully compete in the east playoffs next year. My question who else should they target now and how much money would they have to offer someone?

Just saw that the Raptors are "now courting" Wes Matthews too. I could see that potentially leading to a DeMar DeRozan trade. Where to? No idea. Maybe a sign-and-trade with Portland possibly?

It may not continue, but Carroll was ATL’s top scorer in the ECF (whole playoffs?), so he’s worth it at his current output as a 3 and D player, but also has major upside.

Raps are in a tight race with the Mavs in trying to acquire Wesley Matthews, who would play the 3 for them. Lowry- Derozan- Matthews – Caroll- Jonas would be pretty entertaining.
