Very similar to your team OP, just have Thompson instead of Butler and Oladipo instead of Giannis

CanadianGMParticipantRealistically if you drat Kevin Durant 2nd overall in 2007, your not going to have a lottery pick from 2011 onwards. Basing my drafting on having lottery picks in 2007-2010 and from 2011 on having the last pick in the draft based on having the best record and winning championships I would construct my team like this.
PG- 6’3 Curry (7th pick 2009). Back up 6’4 Goran Dragic (45 th pick 2008)
SG 6’7 Butler (30th pick-2011). Back Up 6’5 Jordan Clarkson ( 30th pick 2014)
SF. 6’10 Durant (2nd pick -2007). Back- Up 6’7 Draymond Green (30 th pick -2012)
PF 6′ 10 Love ( 5th pick -2008). Back Up 6’9. Kevin Looney (30 th pick – 2015)
C- 6’11 Cousins (5 th pick 2010) Back-up. 7′ Hassan Whiteside ( 30 th pick 2010

CanadianGMParticipantMy roster might not be the pipe dream of others but it would be a realistic scenario if you had hindsight perfect drafting and we’re able to work the salary cap just right, you could have this team with roughly 75 million cap.
2014 Cap Numbers- Curry (11 M), Butler (2M- up for max extension 2015) Durant (20M) Love (15M) Cousins (14M) Starters 62 million. Backups Dragic- (7.5M – up for big extension 2015) Clarkson, Green, Looney, Whiteside would have all made under 1 Million last year on their rookie contracts. 11.5 million. The bottom 1/3 of roster would all be veteran minimum guys so you could have this team for a total team salary that would place it between 10-15 th in the league. Not even a tax paying team. Let me know if you could build a better team by only having lottery picks in 2007-2010 and having the last pick in the draft from 2011 onwards.
