Jr. ROXASParticipantMan I love this trade. Phil Jackson for once made a pretty smart move. Melo would love Grant, as he is a excellent floor general that would feed him the ball, as well as create for himself. Also a big asset on D.Couldn’t help but think though how much more draft picks Knicks could’ve had now if Phil Jackson weren’t so reckless. Trading Chandler, Shumpert and Smith could’ve AT LEAST merritted one first round draft pick now but no… smh.

XYRYXParticipantYeah I think the guys standing in the rows with their Spreewell, Melo and Amare jerseys do really know who is going to be good and who won’t.
I really hate it when fans boo their newest members right after the pick, this is really embarrassing to me.
Kristaps is an incredible talented player and one of the nicest guys drafted in the lottery to me. He comes from a basketball family and his brother was a pro himself. His reaction to this speaks for himself:
“I mean a lot of fans weren’t happy that they drafted me, but I have to do everything that’s in my hands to turn those booing fans into clapping fans,” Porzingis said. “There’s nothing I can do. I was happy about it. I want to be a part of this organization, and I know the fans are a little harsh sometimes but that’s how it is here in New York and I’m ready for it.”
These fans should be more than happy how this draft day played out for them since they got a very good point guard with Grant later on.
