Russell’s skill set, can score, can pass and with range, fit well to today’s game and make it easier to pair up with another superstar. Russell+Clarkson+Randle give Lakers promising young core with salary space to chase other superstars and depth.

As a Thunder fan I hate the pick of Payne. You have arguably the best PG in the league in Westbrook, and arguably the best backup PG in the league in Augustin…Payne makes zero sense. Hope he enjoys the DLeague.

Maybe it’s just me, but Jalen Rose’s player comparions have been absolutely awful so far. He compared Karl-Anthony Towns to Patrick Ewing, D’Angelo Russell to Lenny Wilkens, Justise Winslow to Metta World Peace, Stanley Johnson to Caron Butler, and the list goes on. I thought Rozier would be picked in the late first (around 27-30). I think he is a definite reach here and Portis would’ve been a good fit. Not too thrilled with this pick cause Celtics already got Thomas, Smart, and Bradley unless maybe one of them is traded/free agent. Not too big a fan of his game either.

 Finally Portis is drafted. Been a lot of talk about Gibson or Noah potentially being traded. Portis provides a decent replacement and I think will be able to contribute right away. STEAL.

If RHJ falls to the Cavs then I think they should take him. He could be a solid backup, will not be a scoring liability at all, and he has great defense which the Cavs really need.

He always reminded me of a Paul Milsap or Taj Gibson type of PF, he won’t be pretty out there, just lower his head and bang inside until he’s accepted as a long term role player…

This is a great pickup by Boston especially here at 28 but man I was holding my breathe and hoping he fell into our lap, I’m a little upset Hinkie hasn’t made a trade up to land a PG or SG with 1st round potential….

RJ Hunter is not too bad a pick. Good 3 point shooting, something the Celtics need. With the 33rd pick I think they should take my man Rakeem Christmas from Syracuse! Living in the Syracuse area my whole life so far and being a huge Syracuse sports fan Christmas can play PF or C, can defend well and score if needed to. I enjoyed watching him develop and play at Syracuse and I believe he would be a good pick for the Celtics.
