Ahkasi ClayParticipantHow do you pass on Okafor?
0- Posted on: Thu, 06/25/2015 - 1:47pm #994381

CynthiaParticipantApparently Lamarcus Aldridge wants to sign in LA. So they’re probably banking on that…but I still would have went Okafor to be safe.

I love this teams potential for the future.

SinaParticipantIt’s 9 o’clock here in Hong Kong. Glad to hear Lakers draft Russell over Okafor and not trading for Cousins. Russell’s skill set, can score, can pass and with range, fit well to today’s game and make it easier to pair up with another superstar. Russell+Clarkson+Randle give Lakers promising young core with salary space to chase other superstars and depth.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantMaybe it’s just me, but Jalen Rose’s player comparions have been absolutely awful so far. He compared Karl-Anthony Towns to Patrick Ewing, D’Angelo Russell to Lenny Wilkens, Justise Winslow to Metta World Peace, Stanley Johnson to Caron Butler, and the list goes on. The only one I’ve agreed with is Devin Booker to Klay Thompson, but everyone knows how similar those two play already. Not to mention, he basically called the Porzingis pick awful. I normally like Jalen, but he’s just been annoying tonight.

Anton123ParticipantFinally Portis is drafted. Been a lot of talk about Gibson or Noah potentially being traded. Portis provides a decent replacement and I think will be able to contribute right away. STEAL.

BallCity1ParticipantIf RHJ falls to the Cavs then I think they should take him. He could be a solid backup, will not be a scoring liability at all, and he has great defense which the Cavs really need.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipanttrading Gibson and a prospect like Mcdermont or Snell could save them the money necessary to resign Jimmy Butler this summer
I like Portis in Chicago, I think he’s a little like KG as a player, tough and versatile, of course he’s not as long and athletic as KG but he’s a terrific pick by Chicago…

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantOkay I do think Nance will carve out a role in the League, he’s a good athelte and a pedigree player, if he can defend F’s like Green proved he could out in Golden State than Nance could be a surprise and start at SF down the road, he and Russell provide them depth on the wing for sure…
I don’t hate this pick although it’s very surprising

Still a great pick up by Boston, he is going to have to work his way up the depth chart as the Celtics are loading up on Guards and Wings, ironically the 76ers are loading up at PF/C…

BallCity1ParticipantRJ Hunter is not too bad a pick. Good 3 point shooting, something the Celtics need. With the 33rd pick I think they should take my man Rakeem Christmas from Syracuse! Living in the Syracuse area my whole life so far and being a huge Syracuse sports fan Christmas can play PF or C, can defend well and score if needed to. I enjoyed watching him develop and play at Syracuse and I believe he would be a good pick for the Celtics.

BleedGreen808ParticipantI’m really upset at the Terry Rozier pick but I really like getting RJ Hunter at 28 and Jordan Mickey at 33. Hunter provides much needed 3 point shooting and Jordan Mickey brings shot blocking which we’ve needed for years.
