VRod305ParticipantI heard Ryen Russillo say earlier today on his show that he believes we are picking between Porzingis and Mudiay. I just kind of find that amazing. I’ve heard that we like Mudiay and that Hinkie has seen Porzingis more than anyone, but this is just hard to believe.
I’m very, very excited for Thursday.

holefillers1ParticipantAnything you here about the Sixers is most likely bad info or at the very least misinformation. It is a forgone conclusion that Hinkie will pull off some crazy draft moves. In his first two drafts he came away with two lottery players each year. If I was putting some rumors out there it would involve at least one trade and two lottery prospects.

VRod305ParticipantI hope we take Russell. I say him live this season. He is really good and was on such a crap team where guys could load up against him. I’m sure people will say that the Sixers aren’t a great situation either, but Nerlens and RoCo are worlds better than his Ohio State team. If we were drafting say, eighth, I would be fine with taking a shot on Porzingis, but not at No. 3

VRod305ParticipantI honestly feel the whole Embiid "setback" was something they wanted to put out there. A press release like that is something Hinkie’s never done. He wanted it out there to make teams think he would take Okafor at No. 3 if he was available.
I put a lot more trust in what Bill Self said and the idea that he wasn’t in pain or experiencing discomfort. At least from my experinece, usually if something is wrong, you feel something.

VRod305ParticipantFrom what was said, he just went for a routine check-up and they found that "healing wasn’t going as planned". There was no pain or discomfort that led to the check-up.
