d-grizzlyParticipantThis just isn’t an impressive series at all other than the fact that LeBron is doing something some of the best have/will never accomplish: take a team this far into the finals with no help at all. The Warriors are pretenders at best and they would have lost this series if Irving, Love, and Varejao were healthy.
2014 Spurs would sweep either of these teams as they currently are…. I’m already looking forward to next season.

halfdecayedParticipantto me this warrior playoff run is sooo overrated, they played against injured team every series. Jrue Holiday clearly wasn’t 100%, Conley and Tony Allen missed games, the Rockets didn’t have Beverley to defend Curry and Motiejunas was out too (he was a great role player for them), and now this Cavs team has 3 of their starters out, like common now, this team playoff run is overrated plain and simple, I don’t care how much game they won in the regular season, they wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all the injuries. They simply got lucky.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantWell. The spurs didn’t sweep the heat in last year’s finals, and I don’t think you can say the warriors aren’t better than last year’s heat.
I think this series has been entertaining, although the play has been choppy at times. Unfortunately, since Cleveland is down so many players, they have had to rely on "ugly ball" to give them a chance to win. I agree that it would be interesting and probably a much more aesthetically pleasing series if Cleveland was at full strength, but I don’t think you can take anything away from golden state for beating an undermanned team in the finals. They’ve had a phenomenal year and pretty much have been the best team in the league wire to wire.

ballislyfe25ParticipantThe Warriors deserve a ton of credit for absolutely crushing the regular season and continuing that strong play throughout the playoffs. They have a great chance to finish Cleveland off tonight and win a championship that they have built toward and worked incredibly hard for. Their whole organization is on the same page and Steve Kerr and his staff were so impressive. Steph has been unbelievable and made the MVP trophy his.
That being said there is something unsatisfying about this Finals, and kind of the playoffs in general. Way too much Matthew Dellevadova and James Jones for an NBA Finals. Injuries have really robbed us of some great series and matchups over the past few years. Oklahoma City hasn’t been at full strength for the playoffs in years, maybe never weaker than they were to finish out this season in missing Ibaka and Durant. I would have loved to see Patrick Beverley and Steph go at it; the best defensive point guard and the best offensive point guard, respectively. Memphis’ role players couldn’t hang with Golden State’s but it would have been nice if Conley didn’t have a broken face the entire series. The Cleveland series speaks for itself.
I don’t want to discount Golden State and their accomplishments but their playoff run just leaves something to be desired, IMO. In their defense, injuries may have robbed them from extended playoff pushes in the past so it’s only fair. Every championship team catches breaks along the way and the Warriors’ regular season put them in prime position. Again, I am not trying to take away from what they have accomplished, I just am not fully satisfied from this year’s playoffs and their playoff performance.

Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantWhy would anyone play jones this much in the finals? unless you wanna lose there is no need to play a older player who reputation was one of a sharp shooter that hasnt hit anything all series and bummed it on Defense to go with that. I for one would like to see Blatt get fired . He doesnt seem very smart.

kingofbumsParticipanthes been far better than both shump and jr combined. Thats a fact. On offense shump has been so bad with zero confidence. on defense yeah he shut down klay but its not like jones was that bad on defense. With JR its pretty self explanatory. This guy takes the worst shots ever and misses open layups.

Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantI respectfully ask you What series have you been watching?I’ve seen Jones brick so many shots while missing rotations at times . Shump hasnt been good and J.R has been inconsistent but i rather play young legs or even Marion and miller more. Jones has been a bench warmer for the heat for a reason.

MikezParticipantWho else are you playing instead of him? He was in the game to give TT, Mozgov, and Lebron a breather.
