NJnetskiddParticipantWith the Lakers using their Mid Level execption on Ron Artest I dont think the Lakers have enough wiggle room to resign Lamar Odom. Im guessing both Cleveland and Boston would be interested, but they are both courting Sheed. Odom would be a perfect fit on the Cavs… He has the perfect size and athletic ability to guard Rashard Lewis on the perimeter…and he has the touch on the outside that would force opposing PF’s to step out… creating more room for Shaq and Lebron to operate in the paint.

Knicksboy34ParticipantCleveland….where he’s the 4th option.

trueone313detroitParticipantHe was the fourth Option anyway. You had Kobe Options 1 -5, but we will just say Option 1, Pau Option 2, Bynum Option 3. He would be in the same roll, but as a full – time starter.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantOdom Said He will Take A Pay-Cut Which Is The Mid-Level Exception…..and him and artest are good friends, so don’t worry he is not going any were in the near future

esperanzafleet69Participantactually artest took a paycut which leaves odom with more money than he was possibly looking for before

Stanford hoopsParticipantwe have enough to sign odom…lakers just got alot better

llperezhe will spend the money necessary to sign Odom. My guess is it will be for like 7-8 mill a year. Artest is taking the mid level that they were gonna give to Ariza. I think the Lakers are smart for not overpaying Ariza. But I do agree that Odom would be a great fit for Cleveland. He can rebound defend on the perimeter and run the offense while LeBron sits. The guy who really loses is Adam Morrison. In a contract year, he is not gonna even know what his own number is unless someone gets hurt.

Stanford hoopsParticipantyeah im loving the lake show even more now…ron can take the pressure off of kob on offense and defense…if morrison works hard he can ear some min over sasha since all he can do now is pester players

sheltwon3ParticipantIf Artest is wise he will make money in endorsement and other opportunities that LA presents. Also Odom will probably stay for around 8 to 10 million and i hope Lakers resign Shannon Brown for like 1.5 million.

sheltwon3ParticipantI thought Morrison was gone. He and Farmar need to get gone.

europebasketballReally come on he would take less money just to stay because he loves L.A.
