Is this official, or just a rumor? Ariza could probably get on a better team. Houstan probably gave more money than anyone else

You can’t sign anyone till the 8th so is it possible that he can change his mind before that date?

I really dont think winning mattered to him very much… he was just searching for the biggest pay day. His stats are going to drop drastrically… With the Lakers he had nothing but open looks because of double teams on Kobe… or his man playing 12 feet off him. Plus he doesnt really create his own offense with the exception of fast breaks… and the Rockets really dont have a distibuter to set him up with easy buckets

Why does everyone is sports fall for the money? Would you honestly get paid 5 million to play for a bad team, or get paid 3 million to play for a good team. After taxes, you only make a little over a million more. But is it worth it to play for a bad team. Its not like you are going to go bankrupt if you dont take the 5 million

As a Lakers fan I will gladly take Artest for Ariza. Artest can help in so many more things than Ariza. Kobe won’t have to be in the post so much with another guy who can get down there and make things happen for the triangle

Brian Cook is burried on the Rockets roster… truthfully the best situation for Ariza probably would have been with the Cav’s. He could play the same roll as he did on the Laker’s as a defensive stopper on the wing that could get his points on the break or off of Lebron/ Shaq doubles

id take the money too as would most players when they are younger..once they get older it tends to change…i remeber a interview where they reporter asked if he rather have his career with rings or barkleys career with money and he said barkleys…..though we will miss ariza this does open the door a lil more for us to get ron who is said to be considering cleveland and the lake show
