NJnetskiddParticipantWith No Artest, No Yao, and a hobbled T-mac this would be the Rockets line up
PG- Aaron Brooks / Kyle Lowry
SG- Tracy McGrady/ Van Wafer
SF- Shane Battier / James White
PF- Carl Landry / Chuck Hayes
C Luis Scola / Joey Dorsey ??That would be an extremely small front court with no one to protect the rim. It’s hard to tell how deep in the season T-Mac can go before his body breaks down and its yet to be seen if Brooks carry on his momentum from the playoffs. Should Houston make moves to bring in a center… possibly Chandler or should they mail in the season by trading away veteran pieces and rebuild for the future ?

RickyRubio9Participantwe’ll have a lot of money by then with Yao and McGrady off thats about 21 mill and 16 so I mean if we keep our core together we can try and bring in some superstars but really…I loved Yao, I wanted him to carry us.

birdman113sign the Birdman to a 3 year deal. take this year and just develop you young players and then the 2010 season is when they will be good if yao comes back.

NJnetskiddParticipantya Yao def started to put the whole package together… he always was a handful on offense with his length and ability to shoot the J, but he really started using his size to his advantage on defense and the glass…. It would be a shame if he doesn’t make it back.

Rubio is a beastParticipantThe way the NBA is right now, there are the few teams that are in it to win it, and a few smart teams rebuilding. The Rockets wont be contending for a championship WITH Yao. Focus on the future. It helps being in Texas. They have great teams in other sports, so Houstan fans wont be appauled that the Rockets arent great for 2 years.

RickyRubio9Participantbelieve me, Houston needs a winning team, we can’t count on ‘Stros or Texans and Dynamo are soccer. Houston needs the Rockets. It was always crazy at the Toyota Center. Rockets haven’t been bad for a long time and we’re use to that team being the most successful. It kills us to be the worse in Texas behind the Mavs and Spurs when we just were making the jump over them. Pretty Bad for us.
