My mockdraft with 1st round comments. I don’t get a chance to update my mock as after me asking for three years NBA draft.net still hasn’t added a mobile app to use the create your own mock feature.

One note I would like to add is I see Hernangomez rising. I see him as a player with great upside. I could even see Toronto drafting him at 20 as they need frontcourt help and Hernangomez has proven to have a complete game at such a young age. He can be a stash prospect or can come over immediately and has really put himself in a great position for this draft.

Toronto has three or four shooting guards, so you give them another?  Maybe go with your big Spanish center idea, they do need size.

Dekker versus Kaminsky, that will be a small part of the draft that only people on here are interested in, and some back in Wisconsin.  Most would have Kaminsky taken before him, but it is something to watch.  Utah do have Hayward, Hood, Ingles, even Evans, for small forward.  Dekker would be a small power forward, Kaminsky would be a big one for Utah,

Your mock is probably better than mine, although Chicago going small forward again after Butler and McDermott might be something to look at.

I actually want to see surprise picks that happen, so your Vaughn, Dekker, Anderson picks might do that.

I’m a Jazz fan and I don’t like Dekker or Kaminsky. Dekker was really inconsistent and timid at times for the Badgers. David Locke a Jazz broadcaster just said on his show that player that don’t do well there freshman and sophmore year almost always are busts. I looked up Kaminsky and he did terrible his first two years. So I personally hope they don’t take either one.

I like Ingles and Evans but I don’t think either one is a serious player. Hood did better shooting guard which is what I think his NBA position is. If I were the Jazz I would take Johnson if he fell if not I would look at Oubre, RHJ or Anderson. We could bring them along slowly and have a serious backup in case Hayward gets injured.

This was fun and interesting to read. I like the selection of Portis at 15th to the Hawks, it makes a lot of sense and fills their needs. I think that at 16 the Celtics would take Kaminsky over Oubre but if they don’t the pick would likely be traded.

Why would the Celtics go Kaminsky over Oubre exactly?  I doubt Oubre is even there at 16 and if he is there’s no way you pass that up to pick Kaminsky.   With the amount of draft picks Boston has they can take a chance on Oubre instead of going the safe route with Kaminsky.

2 picks I love for the teams involved: Hezonja in Detroit would be terrific, they need everything he brings.

Bobby Portis in Atlanta. Perfect fit, combined with,I hope Walter Tavares.
