    Allen Iverson has made it known through his representatives that he is interested in signing with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to multiple sources.

    The Grizzlies front office is said to be internally weighing the pros and cons of possibly adding Iverson to the team’s youth movement.

    stick with conely. why pay iverson a bunch of money just so he can hog the ball from conely, mayo, gay….

    Memphis should just save their money. Why waste money on these older players. The Grizzlies are young and need to stay that way. If they add a free agent it needs to be a young proven guy like David Lee, Big Baby, etc….Next year there will be some great free agents. No need to throw away cash now. Even with Iverson I still don’t think Memphis would make the playoffs.

    iverson would get his 10+ million contract and his 20+ppg even if it meant destroying memphis’ cap and possibly ruining the chemistry. he’s not a team player. his assists don’t mean nothing to me, the guy is a pure shooter only.

    Why get Iverson when you have Mayo and Conley? He won’t want to play off the bench and this your chance to develop your pg of the future. Dumb mistake if they get him.

    That Sounds Like A Strong 5, but Mayo Iverson, Gay, randolph Always Expect the Ball In There Hands ……reminds me of the NYC ( Marbury, Crawford, Curry, Randolph)

    build the team around Mayo, Gay, and Gasol. getting Randolph hurt the Iverson would make it worse.

    i hope this was just a rumor though, iverson should go elsewhere…and not interrupt a young team and their chemistry.
