RickyRubio9ParticipantWhy isn’t he on the 2010 Mock Draft?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 9:32am #173910

Knicksboy34ParticipantNo clue…i made my 2010 mock…hes in the lottery, he is super talented he’s just a nut-case
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 10:13am #173931
WildDudeParticipantHe needs to be eligible first… if not, and he doesn’t play for a year then he will go undrafted ala Lenny Cooke, if he does become eligible i have him in the 20 range unless he can prove hes matured
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 10:16am #173934

Knicksboy34Participantagreeable…to a point.
I think if Lance is eligible and can play this year in Cincy, he could be a top 5 pick. I think if he plays well and shows he’s a leader….anything is possible.

gatorheelsParticipantif he averages about 20 points in the Big East I expect he will be a lottery pick
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 11:24am #173957
WeakHavocParticipantHe is the all-time leader in NY high school history. That says something. He will put up 18 points 5 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals a la Tyreke Evans and will be picked 6th. Him Deonta and Yancy Gates will be fine.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 11:43am #173981
europebasketballHe will later be mentioned in the 2010 draft because it’s too early too say where who’s going to get drafted.

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipanti think he will be on their eventually because of his talent but i think he will fall to the end of the first round because of off the court issues
he will put up 19 points, 5 rebounds, and about 2.7 assists this year in college and probably around 1 steal
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:21pm #174002

HaleParticipantI think he will go late lottery, no way he goes top 5. He has to prove he score in a variety of ways not just being more powerful then the defender, he is a step slow and has average athleticism at best.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:23pm #174006
Stanford hoopsParticipantim not sure..those were the same things said about harden….i remeber lance when he had alot of bounce before putting on the weight..if he slims down he could get that explosivness back like i say with the other freshman just have to wait and see…untill then there is no definate that he will or wont be a top 5..only maybe
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:25pm #174007

HaleParticipantHarden is crafty though and he doesn’t just bully people to get where he wants, he has a great basketball IQ and can score in every way plus he is a good shooter. Stephenson just uses his strength.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:28pm #174012
Stanford hoopsParticipantive seen lance use more then strength a couple of times while at the rucker in ny..he uses strengh in hs because no one stops it..thats how alot of players do in hs when they can jump higher or strnger they just use what they know will work..once they go to college or the nba they start to use the other weapons that have if they have it..like favors and cousins..right now they just use strength favors stregth and athletisim

Stanford hoopsParticipantagreed…hes definately in control of his own destiny
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:31pm #174013

Meditated StatesParticipantHe needs to stay out of trouble, keep his mind on his money, and his freedom. He is not going to be in college long anyways, drop 17 to 20 on them, make his teamates better instead of being a cancer. He has all the tools just needs some discipline. That coach should stay on his a$$ too. He does those things he’s in the lottery.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:31pm #174017

HaleParticipantI still think there is no way he goes in the top 5.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:35pm #174018

Knicksboy34ParticipantWhy Yup?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:38pm #174020

HaleParticipantToo many players with more talent then him and less issues. Favors, Henry, Wall, Monroe, Aldrich, Aminu, Davis (maybe), George, Warren, Brackins.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:39pm #174022

Knicksboy34ParticipantMaybe but I think he may just stay quiet and play hard. If he does, I can see him going top 5
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:41pm #174023
Stanford hoopsParticipantwe shall see if he puts up great numbers and thoses players dont live up to expectations then awhole lot changes..monroe and the others are more definate since they have already proved what they can do against strong comp favors henry and wall have more to prove..henry has a very slow first step by the way..not sure if its because of injury or weight but he isnt driving past any athletes..though he has a nice jumper which should help
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:44pm #174024

HaleParticipantFor Henry, I think it’s both the weight gain and the car accident but I expect him to regain some of his athleticism this year. Wall has the easiest job of those players because he has so much talent around him that he will be able to do his thing, I promise you Wall goes ahead of Lance next year, there is no doubt in my mind whatsoever.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:46pm #174027

Knicksboy34ParticipantYupYup…noone said he would go over Wall. I think any team that needs A SG will look at Lance or Henry
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:48pm #174028

gatorheelsParticipantLance top 5….I can’t see it either really. I see him more in the 8-14 range….assuming he has a good year.
I’m not sure about Henry but what I have seen so far he looks like a late 1st round pick….assuming he plays well as a freshman at Kansas. I think Henry will play 2 years of college ball though and enter the 2011 draft.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:48pm #174029

HaleParticipantI am saying that Wall will go high no matter what to Josh. He always likes to watch players before his grades them but I have seen him enough to know he won’t drop with those other upperclassmen leaving I just can’t see Lance going top 5. I could see him going in the 9-15 range.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:50pm #174031
Stanford hoopsParticipantyeah i feel the same about henry lance as top 5 talent just a matter of his attitude thats the only thing everyone questions
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:53pm #174033

HaleParticipantHenry will be a one and done, it was reported that he wouldn’t be in college if it weren’t for the rule. I think it would be best for him to stay 2 years, because then he would have a chance to lead KU without Aldrich and Collins but it seems very unlikely.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:56pm #174036

gatorheelsParticipantWell I hope Henry starts playing more aggressive. The few times I watched him play he looked kinda soft and a little slow. His jumpshot is pure though and I like lefthanders. Seems to be a pretty smart player too. I just have a feeling he may struggle a bit as a freshman.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 12:58pm #174038
Stanford hoopsParticipantwith wall seeing him in hs is different then seeing him against real competition..is he talented yes..does he have potential yes but you always have to look at the whole book not just the page..one is word of gods schedule wasnt the best. far from it so we will have to see what he does against real competition( holiday anyone) 2. its very well known that he plays at one speed right now and isnt that great of a shooter..will that stop him from being drafted high if he lives up to the potenial..nope..3 is he is a 5th year senior. that wasnt a top player in his 4th year..personally im putting my money on him not going number one..but im sure he will go high reguardless what he does
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 1:01pm #174040

HaleParticipantI will not guarantee he goes 1, personally I think Monroe has a very good shot at going 1 next year. I am wondering whether Wall was able to be voted for as a top player in his 4th year? Maybe because he was coming back his couldn’t be voted for. He still has loads of talent around him regardless so he will plenty of chances to beat his man.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 1:01pm #174041

gatorheelsParticipantI see Wall having a huge year personally. With that dribble-drive offense that Calipari runs it fits Wall to perfection. Wall should have a ton of assists, and get to the free throw line a lot. I think he will average something like 15 pts 6 asst 2stls. As long as he shoots a pretty high % from the field I think he goes #1. His speed and athleticism is top notch.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 1:03pm #174045
Stanford hoopsParticipantwhy wouldnt he have been voted for as a sr in his real sr year?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 1:13pm #174048

JNixonParticipantLance Stephenson=Paul Pierce
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 1:17pm #174052

Knicksboy34ParticipantI see Henry more as Pierce….
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 1:40pm #174058

JNixonParticipantMore so than Stephenson??? Nahh…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 1:47pm #174061

Meditated StatesParticipantWhen I saw Henry play he did look a little slow. Josh Huestis is right He will need to use that jumper with pump fakes to get by defenders because he does not look quick to me either.
