JM40ParticipantIf I had to pick today, I’d select Frank Kaminsky as my National POY. The runner-up would be Jahlil Okafor, followed by Jerian Grant, Georges Niang, and D’Angelo Russell. Anyone else have a different idea on who they think the POY should be?

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantYea. I would say its a toss up between kaminski and okafor at this point. I think kaminski has been more consistent overall and probably has the edge right now but a lot can change over the next month.
I wanna say d’angelo because I think he’s been the best player in america since conference play started but the fact that he doesn’t play on an elite team like kaminski and okafor puts him at a disadvantage. Grant would be a distant fourth to me right now, particularly after his disappointing performance against duke last weekend.

Too FastParticipantI’d maybe even consider Willie Cauley Stein? I know the numbers aren’t there but he’s a huge reason his team hasn’t lost.

ChewyParticipantYou have a 7 footer who is leading his team in Pts, Reb, Ast, Stls and Blks! Also that team is 5th in the nation.
Frank the Tank gets my vote.

IknoBall12Participantnot exactly saying frank doesn’t deserve it but I feel like when they played duke it was clear who the best player on the floor was. Jahlil dominated down low. Frank disappeared during that game. I know players have bad games but for my money I gotta give POY to jahlil because of the competition also
