In season or post-season trade idea depending on Cavs motivation. Cavs trade T. Thompson, I. Shumpert, and B. Haywood. Suns exchange I. Thomas, P.J. Tucker, and M. Plumlee. Cavs get good backup to Irving and another penetrator in Thomas, D and 3 with Tucker, and upgrade to Haywood. They lose Thompson as their best backup and offensive rebounding prowlness, Suns get rebounding that they dont have outside of A. Len and a strong PF to share time with Morris. Suns also get to loosen up their guard and sf logjam and could play Ennis, Z.Dragic, Goodwin, and Bullock. Suns arent going too far with their present team and got smoked by Warriors which will continue happening with their undersized 3 point guards playing together.
Fair trade Cavs fans? During or after the season?? FYI: can happen after feb 19th and might need more cavs salary to match for trade.

Not much sense given the Suns have two PF’s in the Morris twins that they already paid and giving up a gaurd worthy of starting in Thomas when they may lose Dragic at the end of the year. Plus the Cabs have something working now that they have Mozgov.

Actually dnj23, Marcus Morris plays mostly SF but is very undersized when he plays PF. No one can rebound and thats where Thompson can help. Can lose Thomas and G. Dragic and still have Bledsoe, Ennis, Goodwin, Z. Dragic, and G. Green. True Cavs gave alot for Mozgov and they are on a role. Can they be ECF contenders with their team or will one more trade like this one put them there? Cavs def. can improve on D and Plumlee and Tucker bring their defense nightly.

When are the Suns going to give Archie Goodwin and TJ Warren some decent minutes ? Before the season started I actually though Warren might get a few starts a SF after the all-star break…..

  always thought the same thing,too many guards on this team that don’t play. Small ball ,run and gun is cool,but you don’t win for a long time playing like that. They’ll need to retool a little bit to me.
