tblazer_NZParticipantHe will be in the lass of 2016. I am happy that my fallow Kiwi is going to such a high level program. Because I am a New Zealander I don’t usually have a set team to support but I will be supporting Kentucky while Tai plays there.

Kinguy11ParticipantSame for me mate.
On a slightly related note, Fran Fraschilla posted a scouting report about Wynyard that is insider exclusive. If an insider could post that here we would probably all learn something. I can’t post the link for some reason, but it’s easy enough to find on google.

Rip255No doubt he was attracted to Kentuckys world famous basketball and sheep breeding program. Watch out world, Mika Vukona 2.0 is ready to take the world/farm by storm.

tblazer_NZParticipantWhat is with the hate, Mika Vukona is a 6’6 226lbs PF with very little skill and Tai is 6’9 240 and only 16 years old. You Aussies just hate it when anything (potentially) good comes from NZ. He is likely going to struggle to get playing time due to all the big time recruitments that go to Kentucky so he’ll have to work hard. He will be at Kentucky for a few years.

BallerScriptParticipantHe aint Mika Vukona! He way better!
Hope he goes high in the 17/18 draft. Something that I know about him is that he is a bruiser who plays PF and doesn’t want to follow Steven Adams and become wants to have his own name.

festar35ParticipantI have seen a bit on Wynard and I think Kentucky is perfect place for his development and exposure to USA basketball.
Watching him here in NZ he played really well at the National tournament except the semi final where to be honest he looked lost against a much smaller team and a legit 7ft from OBHS who won the Championship.
The kid has great footwork and soft touch he just needs to continue to learn and work on his explosiveness as he isn’t a great athlete. Could do with being lighter to help move quicker and get around the floor, he is physical but I don’t think he will lose the strength if done right.
