natevalParticipantAs a Celtics fan I would rather roll the dice with Wolters than Phil Pressey. Sounds like he may end up with the Wolves, he’s from Minnesota. What are peoples thoughts on here about him?

NCarmean18ParticipantI like Nate Wolters, and think that he has a solid shot at being a decent NBA player. I was shocked that Milwaukee just up and waived him, especially considering that I thought they could gather a little bit of trade interest for him…

machu46ParticipantThey tried to trade him, but nobody showed interest. Could be that teams knew they’d waive him anyways, so why bother trading anything for him, but who knows?

ballislyfe25ParticipantI saw him play his senior year against Hofstra. He was easily the best player but I see his ceiling really as a team’s fourth best guard. He has some size for the point but he isn’t physically imposing and has no advantages from his athletic abilitiy.
That being said, I would want him on my team as a back end rotation player or . He can shoot, understands the game well on both ends, and has passable handles.

SnowtaParticipantHe went to South Dakota State. He’s from MN and I remember watching him in HS and followed him throughout his college career. I wish the Wolves had a roster spot to give him a chance. I don’t see anyone on this roster to backup rubio looking beyond this year. I’ve always seem him as a guy that’s not great at anything but has great size at the point. With a solid all-around skillset and his size I’ve always thought he could be a serviceable backup pg in the league.

phila9012ParticipantAs a twolves fan I would be fine if they signed him in the off season, but right now we have mo and lavine. We are tanking this year and letting the young guys develop so I wouldn’t want him to take minutes away from lavine.

RUDEBOY_Participantjason kidd had to make a roster spot for his buddy kenyon martin..kidd said the team needed some toughness..wolters didnt have a role on the team, playing behind knight, bayless and marshall…he’s exceeded expectations as a rookie..nate is a talented kid, that would make some team a nice 3rd guard…i hear there are about 8 teams that have contacted his agent….the knicks could use him..

PlatypusParticipantHe is a modern day Bob Sura, he will always be a bench guard but if used the right way can be played well
