Kinda crazy to think that wth the young potential they have theyl also be getting a top 4 pick in the next draft. With ghe roster and injuries theyv experienced who do you think, they should target rralistically?

Personally i think they should be targeting okafor or myles turner for the 4. I say they just sit rubio and pek the rest of the year GET THEM HEALTHY no sense in putting them out there if your really not competing its in the best interest of the team. these two have not had a healthy year in sometime something always goes wrong with them. Focus on next year anyone who didnt think this was going to be a fullout rebuilding year is nuts. I like targeting those two since you cant predict what thad young will do he may stay and id love to see him do that but who knows so youl need a 4 man and they fill that role. I dont think mudiay would be a great pic since theres already enough guys who need the ball and if they can get rubio healthy his skills would mesh perfectly. Plus muhammed is a 2 not a 3 so you already have rubio,  lavine, and muhammed to fill 96 minutes at the pg and sg spot per game adding mudiay does one of 2 things creates a logjam or sends rubio out and then its back to my point before with, how many guys already need the ball. I also have 0 confidence in Bennett just like i did with derrick williams both were undersizedwho compenstaed with their strength at the collegiate level and ability to stretch the floor somewhat but not built for the NBA. Thoughts anyone on what you think they should do? Oh also, they needd to get rid of kmarts contract no need forhim

Their biggest positional need is clearly PF. At PG they have Rubio and a little bit of LaVine. On the wings they have LaVine, Wiggins, and Shabazz. At center they have Dieng and Pek. At PF Young is about to be a free agent assuming he opts out this summer, and Bennett doesn’t look like he’ll ever be anything more than a 7th or 8th man. I think the best fits would be Towns (if they think he can play PF full time), Porzingis, Lyles (very underrated in my opinion), and Looney.

The Wolves picked a great draft to lose Love, seeing as this is the most loaded draft with PF’s that I can remember. It’s too bad they traded the pick from Cleveland to Philly for Young…hopefully they can get rid of Young and/or Martin for a first.

The Wolves have a lot of options, but I agree w/arowsky in that Towns should easily top that list. Porzingis and Turner also deserve looks, and maybe Okafor if they draft high enough and/or decide that Pek isn’t the future. Hell, if they want to continue the UCLA-to-Minnesota pipeline, they can take Kevon Looney. WCS would also be a great choice, he looks like the next Tyson Chandler. Pretty much they just have to take the best available big.

I see towns as more of a project unless having more court space would drasticallyimprove his game. To me BEST case scenario his game can be similar to pau gasol or ibaka good midrange game but can play back to the basket and has good D thing is hes still very raw. Hes still trying to find his niche where he can succeed best. Okafor and Turner know where they can excell and succeed and have put the tools together where id say differently about Towns. Fact is yes if Towns can put it all together he will prob be great but but its more high risk high reward than okafor and turner. Its easier to see their games translate to the NBA is my point and as a minny fan wev had too many of those pics johny flynn, wes johnson, derrick williams. In those drafts we coulda had steph curry, demarcus cousins, or even enes kanter in stead of williams. Yea kanter fell out of the roatation but even when it was that draft it was clear he was a more reliable pick with less upside

We need a big man. I hope they look to trade pek, he isn’t needed on a young team. I think porzingis, towns or okafor would be ideal, we need another high potential player who has the potential to be a 20ppg scorer but I would be happy with turner, lyles or looney.

I was thinking that you guys could get involved in a multiple team deal with you sending Muhammed, Pek and ? to the Lakers and getting Randle from them and Nerlens Noel from the Sixers. If you were able to resign Thad, you then be looking at a line-up of:

    PG: Rubio, Lavine

    SG:Martin/ Wiggins

    SF: draft Stanley Johnson

    PF: Young/ Randle

    C: Dieng/ Noel

Definitely play-off caliber and still with a high ceiling. The Lakers make out with help for both now (Pek) to make Koby happish and future (Muhammed). They would however flip the 1st for the Sixers late 1st. The Sixers get Ed Davis, Steve Nash’s expiring and the Laker’s 1st. Sixers as usual gain assets in the form of young talent, expiring contracts and higher picks.
