K-Mart to the Bucks

Good to see Kenyon Martin back in the NBA with the Bucks. He played last night after signing a 10 day contract. He was a former team mate of Coach Jason Kidd at the Nets on a team which reached two NBA finals and gives the Bucks veteran presence and frontcourt depth with Larry Sanders in limbo.

Hopefully K-Mart might be a good guy to try and help ease Sanders back into the Bucks fold.

K-Mart is 37 now so will play limited minutes but should be fresh and will give Kidd a few options.

K-Mart’s career figures of 12.5ppg and 7rpg barely do justice to what a beast he was in his early career with the Nets. Sadly double microractures meant that Denver never saw the best of K-Mart although he remained a solid player for them post surgery but had lost some explosivness and was more a defensive type player.
