Where to now for Enes Kanter ?  The Jazz has not extended his contract and Rudy Gobert looks like the way forward for the Jazz.

Kanter has slow feet and is not a great defender.  He does have a decent offensive game for a 7 footer.

Obviously being young, a big body and a third overall selection some other team will give him a shot.

Do you see him as being a career starter of career backup ?

Which teams do you see going after him ? Can he turn it around ?

I would like to see the Mavs getting him as Dirk back up tbh ,Rick Carlisle has helped many young player to get better after slow start in the league and we need someone who can fill the 4 spot .but we will only have the MLE and I think he can get more
I think he will have a decent career ,will be good starter for someone one day ,I’ve been negged during the 2011 draft b/c I’ve said he isn’t as good as advertised but I don’t like him being wasting his potential tbh

He can rebound and score with his back to the basket and can hit a jump shot out to the 3. His defense is really poor tho. Rudy Gobert has made him expendable even tho Kanter is putting up 14 and 7. Someone will probably pay him this off-season but it won’t be Utah unless the can resign him for a reasonable price and he’s ok with being the first big off the bench, which I doubt.

He’s a good back to the basket scorer and is still very young, also is a solid rebounder.

However, he is a terrible defender — a sieve.

If he can improve his defense, I don’t see why he can’t be a solid backup big (his defense probably wouldn’t improve much though–slow feet, average hops).

For the right price, the Bulls could make good use out of him. The Lakers could also use him if he doesn’t cost too much, but he wouldn’t really make them any better… I think the best fit for Kanter would be either Dallas or Memphis. Learning from either Dirk or Gasol would be incredible for his development.

I doubt that Utah would look to give Kanter a $40 million type 4 year deal which I’d assume would be his starting point.

Dallas would be a nice fit for him playing around Dirk and Tyson Chandler but with Dirk, Parsons already on the books and them looking to resign Ellis, Rondo and Chandler, any bid for Kanter would need to be an S and T.

A lot will depend where FA’s like Millsap, Jefferson, Monroe etc land as teams will be chasing them or looking to retain them.

Could the Knicks be an option I wonder as Kanter has decent shooting range but would he be a good triangle fit?
