It’s looks like last night’s injury has proven to be much more for Bucks rookie Jabari Parker. They fear he tore an ACL will most likely miss the rest of the season. It’s such a shame because I’ve been and will contiune to enjoy watching this team grow as Giannis and Jabari as the nucleus and Jason Kidd guiding them.
On the bright side, the Bucks are still gonna compete in a shallow Eastern Conference and Jabari can take the time and learn from the game from a different perspective. It will only mature his mentality and approach to the game.

Only way the Bucks make it through this is by trading away all of the valuable players so they can lose. The more they lose, the closer to a good pick they will be. If they can land a top 5 pick they can draft Emmanuel Mudiay, Karl Towns, D’Angelo Russell, or Stanley Johnson.
If they keep Brandon Knight, Jared Bayless, John Henson, Giannis Antetokounmpo (of course), and Jabari Parker they could have a talented team when Parker returns. They also will have talented players from the trades that could happen.

  That would be stupid, not to mention impossible. They would have to mortgage to future in order to lose this season. The East is so bad this season they have no chance at a Top-5 pick.
  An ACL tear isn’t career threatening in most cases. It sucks, but Parker can recover.
  Also, this injury hurts the Bucks depth, but the team won’t really be any worse if Ilyasova gets healthy. Parker was, if anything, a net negative on the court. The Bucks still have a shot at the 6th seed.

Good opportunity for Henson to step into a starting PF role, but a blow to everyone hoping for a Wiggins/Parker race for RoY.

  He can’t play next to Sanders. Ilyasova will start if healthy. Otherwise, it will probably be Dudley and Giannis at the forward positions, with Middleton possibly getting a shot.

Sad news for Jabari, hope he makes a full recovery in due course. Jason Kidd has a few options to fill his minutes as mentioned above, we might even see Giannis play some SF.
It will be interesting to see if Giannis becomes the focus of the team with Jabari out.
As regards the draft, the Bucks will access their needs come draft time and choose accordingly. They will know by then how Jabari is progressing and what other gaps they need to fill.
As regards the play offs, the Bucks stand a good chance of making them unless Paul George makes a quicker return or another team goes on a run. There is no reason to tank to avoid the play offs, a couple of guaranteed home games against a high seed brings in good revenue and is a good experience for their younger players. Any lottery pick they could get if they miss out on the play offs would be likely late lottery anyway.

When he was injured in highschool took him awhile to get back to natural health. He really just now got himself into shape, I hope this doesnt set him far back
