Lamont73094ParticipantI honestly think this years draft class is being slept on and it has the potential to be better than last year. Last years class was hyped up but arent living up to expectation so far in the NBA season.

Flameres15ParticipantIt depends on what you’re looking at. This year has a lot of talented big men, but no one player is as talented as Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins. Last years draft has a lot of potential, but this years draft will have older players (Sophmores and Juniors).

Ebown5ParticipantI think that this is a good draft too. I don’t think that it is as good as last year, but I definitely think that it is better than an average draft, and a heck of a lot better than the 2013 draft, which was really weak.
I think that nobody is as good a prospect as Embiid, but that Okafor is on the same level as Wiggins or Parker. Mudiay and Towns are similar to the players that went 4-7 last year.
In in addition to the top level talent last year it was also very deep. I’m not sure how deep this draft is this year. We will have to see how it goes.

MopgrassParticipantIs it my imagination or are they playing rookies less this year?

Mr. HookShotParticipantAlso a result of several top picks being injured (Embiid, Gordon, Randle etc.), but yes; this class might have been less ready than some of us expected.

SkalAndJamalParticipantI like this class more as well.
Embiid was the only center in last years draft. This year Okafor, Towns, and WCS(I think Turner is a PF) all can one day be starters for a title contender. Then you can have guys like Tarczewski and Upshaw who can come off the bench for a title contender.
Stanley just seems like he wants it more than Wiggins and Jabari.
Mudiay will have a better rookie year than guy from either class. He’s physically and athletically there.
I think Wiggins, Embiid, exum, Randle and Parker will all figure it out. Vonleh will help Charlotte with their flaws. Smart will blow up once Rondo is gone. Then you have guys like Payton, Napier, Stokes, Adams, Harris, Young, Warren, Stauskas, McDaniels, and Early who can play in this league for a long time and maybe some of them can make an all-star here or there.
However I just think the 2015 class is deeper.
Just look at UK, Duke, North Carolina and Arizona lol. The Harrison twins if they can figure it out, which Aaron is looking he might, they can be all-stars.
Brogdon is a bull. Kaminsky reminds me so much of Pau Gasol.
Don’t sleep on Rashad Vaughn and Nigel Williams-gloss either.

HitsterParticipantThe 2015 draft looks to have more big man depth than this year’s I don’t see it yet having a potential superstar in the Wiggins or Parker mould and I could argue that Embiid is better than any of this season’s big draft class.
Depthwise arcoss the first round I’d say they look pretty equal as of now but a lot of course depends who actually declares in 2015 and next year has Mudiay who looks the best PG prospect in about 4 years. I know Lillard is an All Star but he wasn’t considered a prospect like Mudiay is or Wall and Irving were during their pre draft year.
