I nominate Wayne Selden this season. Both Wiggins and Embiid are long gone. Yes, Selden has an NBA Ready body that was maxed out in HS, but he must put the physical tools to work this year. If he fails us once more, he takes the cake for the LeBryan Nash Award.

     AJ Hammonds of Purdue.

7 footer with 1st round potential, but this draft is loaded with bigs, so he needs to step up or he will slide.

I have my eye out on Wayne Seldon too, can he be a real strong G in the NBA or just another streaky athlete…

He’s giving me more of a next level DeShawn Stevenson vibe.

Nik Stauskas broke out last season, Trey Burke the season before.  LeVert has been solid so far, but if he really wants to justify a lottery selection he needs to have a big season.  And to improve his efficiency and defense.

Also, Andrew Harrison needs to show some consistency and get his shooting over 40%.  He did not look like a future first rounder to me last season even with his impressive size, so he needs to really prove himself to justify the hype.

Theres so many guys…but my top guy would definitely be Georges Niang. It was tough to see him get injured last year. He can do everything and in Fred Hoibergs system the sky is the limit as far as statistical oppurtunity goes for the analytics guys. Now that Kane and Ejim have left town it leaves a big responsibility for Naz Long and Georges Niang. I expect Niang to be the teams top scorer, rebounder and playmaker and hes a sleeper for All American if he stays healthy.

Kyle Wiltjer is another guy Ill be expecting to do well. He went to the wrong school for development and really it was a bad choice for him. Gonzaga is a great landing slot for him though. He is alrwady very familiar with Pangos and Gonzaga has proved to do a great job developing another skilled big Canadian Kelly Olynyk.

Selden has been underwhelming to start the season.

Selden is good defender, but he lacks a go to NBA trait other than his size. Offensively he’s solid at a lot of elements of his game, ball handling, driving, shooting, passing, and decision making, but he’s not really good at any one thing. In today’s pro game, I feel like you have to be really good or elite at at least one element of your game to project as anything more than an end of the bench player.

I personally don’t think Wayne is a lottery pick, even in this kind of down 2015 draft class. I’d consider him in the late teens or 20’s right now, but the season is still months from ending. I was down on him at the end of last year, and I haven’t seen a ton of improvement from him so far. I think if he can finish the year shooting over 40% from deep then that will bode well for him. He’s got a nice jumper, and the 3 and D role is one I think he has the best chance of selling.

I believe there should be no excuse not to excel since he transferred out of a situation with N.C. State. The role did not fit him at the time but even still, moving along to UConn he has to play Robin to Boatright’s Batman. Boatright is The Man and technically Daniel Hamilton is Mr. Freeze aka 13ppg.

What’s the consensus on Rodney "Robin" Purvis, now that he’s finally in action?
