pman23ParticipantI’m a big syracuse fan. I was glad Jonny was taken 6th by Minnesota. I was a little bit mad that Paul Harris and Eric Devendorf was both not drafted. If Taylor Griffin got drafted I think they should also. What will happen with them 2. Maybe Euro league or summer league.

gatorheelsParticipantDevendorf will end up playing overseas. Paul Harris will get on a summer league team and probably end up in the DLeague. However, if Harris ever develops a jumpshot he should make an nba squad.

birdman113Paul Harris will make a team because he can play defense. hes also an amazing rebounder. Devendorf i think hell play overseas.

cuseflynn10ParticipantI think Devo will end up in Europe but Paul will likely go to Minnesota or Chicago because both teams liked his workout. I’m hoping Minnesota because Flynn is there. If Harris develops a jumper and a perimeter shot he would be one of the most physical shooting guards in the game.

WeakHavocParticipantPaul Harris was an All Second team player when he was a Junior in High School First team consisted of the likes of Oden, Durant, Brandan Wright and Thaddeus Young. How coulda fallen this big? He is the greatest athlete in this draft. works hard, is a likeable person, and is a beast plays like hes 6’7. Its a disgrace he didnt get drafted. I couldnt believe it. He will be a player in this league’do. Only problem is he is a junior and already 23 years old. Dont give up bro! Same for Devo.

JNixonParticipantDevendorf has no NBA future…but Harris reminds me alot of Ron Artest. He isnt as talented, but they both play tough d, and are good athletes. Everyone says Harris needs a jumper but he also needs a handle. He could stand to improve his whole perimeter game, even though he is actually a good passer

Knicksboy34ParticipantHarris will find a team….He is too talented. He is a high energy guy right now (I had him going 59th to LA) but he works on his jumper…he could be like Maurice Evans or Stacey Augmon

D HampParticipantHarris did play three years at SU, but he also went to prep school for a year, which is why he is 23 years old.
DHamp…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

D HampParticipantHarris’ agent said he has accepted an invite to Cleveland’s summer league camp.
Dhamp…you know the name.

Knicksboy34ParticipantWhat about Devo? D-Hamp?

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIsnt Harris like 6’4 and played in the post his whole career with Cuse? I agree that if he improves his outside game he could play in the league but couldnt you say that about anyone?? I mean really. If Jeff Adrian improved his outside game he could find a place in the league. If Dejuan Blair improved his outside game he would have gone in the lottery. If Harris was going to improve his outside game, he would have done it at Cuse. He is almost to old to make some significant strides in his game and since he has always been a PF type player he will have a very hard time adjusting to guarding 2s. IF he improves he could be Dontay Jones. Otherwise, nice career with the Orange.

MattissickParticipantTeams were prob worried about Devendorf’s character issues but most mock drafts didn’t have him drafted. Not that I know of at least.

JNixonParticipantI think teams were worried he wasnt athletic enough to play in the league. I never thought of him as an NBA player from day 1.

adjose5Participanti am a Devendorf fan. i did not think he should have declared for the draft though. I think he could have used 1 more year to polish his point guard skills because that would be his NBA position and if he would have averaged 17.2 points a game, he would have ended as Syracuses 2nd all team scorer and maybe he would been a 2nd round pick or who knows, maybe late 1st. since he went undrafted, i think he should go make 6 figures overseas, take care of his family, work on his point guard skills and come back to a summer league team next season and try to earn a contract. he has talent but needs to show teams his character wont be an issue and he can be a point guard. anyword on what teams overseas have offered him deals?

Stanford hoopsParticipantyeah he has a couple offers for over seas in the 70k-110k range so he will be awight…harris might make a team and it wont be the two teams that someone named just because they liked his workout since the teams liek many players workouts but dont get drafted..he will have to do well in the summer leauges which i have no doubt he will because hes a very hard worker with guard handles and har nosed defense….the problem is he has the jumper of a center which he can develop..i can see him play the dahanty jones role
