texas a&m…basketball?

texas a&m was a pretty disfunctional team last year but they finsihed above .500 and return just about everyone from their lineup.  they also added a top 100 point guard recruit this year in alex robinson and 2 double digit scoring wing transfers in danual house (13.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg at u-houston) and jalen jones (14.0 ppg, 7.7 rpg at smu).  this team is going to be interesting to watch because house, jones and leading returning scorer jamal jones are all 6-7 and taller wings.  that size will create a lot of matchup problems and in a weaker SEC; this team could make a little noise.

even crazier is the school has locked in 4 top 100 recruits for the following year in tyler davis (#20), elijah thomas (#29), dj hogg (#35) and admon gilder (#64).  they are currently ranked #2 in the nation in recruits.  with only 2 players graduating from this years’ team, next year’s a&m team may be on the map to make even more noise.

after taking over in 2011 and having some pretty bad years, how did billy kennedy get these guys to commit over the likes of texas, baylor, duke, arizona, etc?
