qDizzle32Participanthttp://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11756179/anderson-varejao-cleveland-cavaliers-start-ahead-tristan-thompson Sounded like the correct decision to me. Thompson at 6’8 just seems to small to play the Center next to Kevin Love. Anderson Varejao the one player still on the Cavs since LeBron’s last stint with the team is definitely a true center with experience that this team who hasn’t made the playoffs in almost 5 years needs. 90% of the time when a player starts one season, then gets reduced minutes and comes off the bench the next season (playing for the same team), their stats decrease and begin to lose confidence. Look at Harrison Barnes and Omer Asik last year! Lamar Odom was one of the few who actually played better after accepting the reserve role. If Tristan Thompson could be more like Odom and less like Barnes or Asik, Cleveland might have this year’s 6th Man of the year winner on their team along with the return of the King and the addition of Kevin Love.
