high floorParticipantThis is a tough pill for the Orlando franchise and it’s fan base to swallow. Many were predicting a breakout season out of Victor, and his timetable is unknown. Wishing you a speedy recovery young fella.
In my opinion this puts even more pressure on Orlando to sign Tobias Harris to an extension before Oct. 31st. He’ll be the unquestioned leading scorer on this team, and every 25pt, 15reb game he has will drive his price tag up.
Looks like another sub 30 win season for my boys in pinstripes, but hoping the other young guys like Fournier, Payton, Harkless & Gordon can step up and show what they can do

theprophetParticipantthat sucks for olodipo. for the magic it stinks in the short term, along with ticket sales. but if olodipo still ends up being the player we hope in the future, at least the magic could draft another star in the lottery legitimately without tanking-something we can’t say about all teams. won’t mention any names. (76ers) cough! cough!

HitsterParticipantA facial fracture will be very painful but with the protective masks available he may not be out that long if his earlier injury has cleared up. The Magic have no need to rush him back as they are still in rebuild mode so it isn’t as if a contender has lost a crucial piece.
I agree that a decent offer needs to be made to Tobias Harris, they already have Vucevic under contract for another 4 years so getting Harris in place would make sense plus if he has a breakout 20ppg season then his value might go up by several million for each season. A $40 million odd 4 year offer could become a Gordon Hayward type contract match next summer. I’d think about $44 million over 4 years would be a fair offer for Harris personally.

King CaluchaParticipantYeah… the question is how much for Harris? I think there are too many players signed based on expected production. I’d say Harris would peak at 17 and 8.5, which isn’t worth max money. 10-11MM per year sounds reasonable in my opinion.
