casey38rayParticipantIt’s looks like the Milwaukee Bucks are planning on playing Jabari Parker at the 3. For what I saw he looker comfortable at the small forward position as well. His stat line might not be impressive but I liked what I saw when he got the ball in the he first half. He got lost on defense on some plays. But it wasn’t because he " lacks lateral quickness ". He got caught looking some plays. But he played good team defense in the most part of the game forcing about 3 turnovers.
I don’t know for sure who’s the starting 5, but it’s looking like PG: Brandon Knight, SG: Jared Dudley, SF: Jabari Parker, PF: Ersan Ilysova, C: Larry Sanders. But I would start Kendall Marshall at the point and John Henson at the 4 with Giannis Antetokounmpo coming off the bench.

casey38rayParticipantThe offense seems to run more smoothly when he’s on the floor. Brandon Knight is the better player, but if you tell who should start for the Bucks I will say Kendall Marshall all say. Kendall Marshall works well with Larry Sanders, Jabari Parker, and John Henson than he does with anyone else on the team.

casey38rayParticipantThe offense flows better when Kendall Marshall is on the floor, rather than Brandon Knight. Kendall Marshall works better with the starters than BK too. It’s not saying KM is better than BK, but in this situation KM runs the offense better.

gbmantisParticipantMarshall
Knight
Parker
Henson
SandersLet OJ Mayo, Illyasova, and Giannis come off the bench. Hopefully by the end of the year, Giannis can start at the 3 and move parker to the 4. If he can develop a consistent 3 point shot I think he can play the 2 also if they really want to leave Jabari at the 3.

Lotto StudParticipantThe second unit is just as exciting, when it comes to energy boost.
Bayless running the 1 with the remaining guys you have listed above, would be pretty decent game flow. I juice hope Orange Juice Mayonnaise gets it together. He should be moved to free up space by the deadline.

properbreaksParticipantJabari is a PURE small forward. I understand if someone was to say that they play him at the PF for some special reason or on a certain team, but I would shake my head when people actually thought he was a full time power forward for real. Look at his jump shot, his handles, when he takes people off of the dribble. He’ll be a 20 plus scorer early in his career. Me personally, I wouldn’t have my straight out of college face of the franchise player banging inside every play. Somebody else would have to do that dirty work

ballislyfe25ParticipantJabari Parker is in that Carmelo Anthony mold of having the skill set and physical abilities to play the 3 and 4 offensively. He is going to give his defender a mismatch just about every night; if he has a quicker player guarding him he can bully him in the post and if he has a bigger player on him he can use his quickness and perimeter skills.
My only worry about Parker and Milwaukee this year is their coach, Jason Kidd. Living in the New York area, I’ve been fully exposed to Jason Kidd the coach and he did not necessarily ‘wow’ anybody. The players do not exactly sing his praises, and the Nets were a very awkward-looking offensive team. Granted, he lost Brook Lopez very early and Deron Williams has the worlds worst ankles, however, he has still only coached one season. The jury is very much out on him, and deservedly so. I would much rather have a Brad Stevens type young head coach as opposed to Kidd, who is learning on the job.

Lotto StudParticipantKendall Marshall is the only player that "benefits" from Kidd’s coaching, whether he starts or not.

HitsterParticipantI’d assume that Jabari will play at SF this year if Kidd wants to have Henson and Sanders as his frontcourt. Slightly surprised that the Greek Freak is being used from the bench, I thought they might have slotted him in at SG to give a lot of mismatches and assist with defence.

Lotto StudParticipantI most certainly see a lot of tip-off shuffles throughout the first half of the season. There is no way Kidd keeps Giannis coming off the bench. He will need that length for mismatch purposes on both ends of the floor.

tuck243ParticipantGiannis is coming off the bench? That’s TERRIBLE… Obviously, they should trade him for Kobe or Dirk since they won’t let him start… This kid can start at both guard positions and create havoc defensively!!! Dude is a future all-star… Kidd doesn’t want Greek the Freak to be GREAT!!
SMH… I’ve heard so much crap about how great this kid is from y’all… At this point Giannas is extremely overrated… And Jabari has always been looked at as a SF… I just don’t understand why so many people want to slot him into the PF position…

machu46ParticipantBucks fans will mutiny if Giannis doesn’t get 30ish minutes a game. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, he and Jabari are easily the key to keeping Bucks fans excited.

TarHeelRavenParticipantJabari has 3 offensive skills but he can’t guard elite 3’s. He won’t even come close to being able to contain a Lebron or Durant or Paul George when he comes back healthy. I think everybody would agree with that. Elite 3’s isolated on the wing with Jabari is a complete mismatch. I don’t think Parker will ever be an elite defender, but he needs to up his awareness and effort on the defensive end or he’s going to get torched.

King CaluchaParticipantI think people usually go to extremes. Just because a player doesn’t have elite athleticism or defense it doesn’t mean they can’t be decent defenders. I’d say defense is 60-70% attitude and awareness. We haven’t seen the kid perform in a real game against an elite wing player yet.
