dmo21Participanti think portland has enough decent point guards and with the drafting of mills i think pushed hinrich out of portlands head…. the blazers have two good young point guards in bayless and mills and blake is a pretty good ball distributor right now, i think they are set at point guard

j1232eParticipantWill sign Andre Miller, then make a trade involving blake and webster for another reserve sg or sf.

Cosgrove03ParticipantIt could happen and it would help the blazers out a lot but what would the bulls get?

llperezThey seem like they are deep at every position, but Roy, Oden, and Aldridge are the only really solid starters. They might want to package some of their abundance of young talent to try to land some more proven players so they can start to make a push in the west. If they don’t make any changes, I don’t see them getting out of the first round again.

j1232eParticipantOden a solid starter quit yet Joel P. Started over him some games this season when he could actually play.

llperezI know he still has to prove himself, but I would’nt give up on him yet. What I meant was they have 3 guys that they can build around with a whole bunch of mediocre young talent stockpiled. You really only need 8-9 high quality players instead of 15 guys who all need minutes.

Meditated StatesParticipantThey need Hinrich. He would help their team go deeper in the playoffs. He is a good athelete and one of the best defenders in the NBA. Yes that is true, he is one of the best one on one defenders in the league. Mills will never be as good as Hinrich.

couchParticipantthe rumor is hinrich for steve blake and travis outlaw

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantHinrich sucks. Andre Miller or Ramon Sessions is better.

Meditated StatesParticipantSessions is a 55th pick for a reason. He is not better than Hinrich. You might need to watch a little more basketball. Sessions played on a garbage team and got minutes. He is a back up at best. Hinrich is a starter it’s that simple.

TRC1991Participantsince when did kirk hinrich ever score 44 points in a game?
has hinrich ever had 24 assists in a game?exactly
so shut up, sessions has potential to be phenomenal if put in the right system while hinrich will give you 8 and 3 off the bench and solid defense

ashleyriot19Participanti don’t know why but i think it will be andre miller, the sixers have lou and holiday and huge contracts. if they give miller what portland can they will have zero flexibility in the future. Rubio is another option i wouldn’t rule out completely, i mean they have young assets and lots of picks if minnesota got him to trade him or if they get scared about rubio going to europe and not wanting to play for them… it’s possible.
hinrich is high on their list, that’s true, they’ve said so much themselves, but i don’t see him being such a big upgrade over blake offensively, but he is indeed much better on d.0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/27/2009 - 4:08am #172245
birdman113i was at that game when Sessions dominate, the only bucks game i went to all year lol.

gatorheelsParticipantPortland would be better off signing Sessions or Miller. I would take either of them over Hinrich…that is a no-brainer for me. I wouldn’t trade Blake & Outlaw for Hinrich either. Hinrich is just a backup combo guard…simple as that. Hinrich could help the Blazers though because he has some good experience but I wouldn’t give up much to get him. Maybe trade Outlaw & a 2nd round pick for Hinrich.
