nill650Participantare these your projections? pretty solid, however:
When you say starting line up do you also mean players who will get the most minutes against the best players on other rosters or are you just going with who likely will start on most nights regardless of competition because they are the highest paid players and won’t necessarily have anything to do with time on the court?
example: I think you are correct in your cavs starting line up but i doubt that of those 5 players listed thompson gets any more minutes than say varejao. nor do I think waiters gets any more minutes against the best opposition 2 guards overall this season than the rest of david blatts options.
just curious.
this is looking to be a much more competitive east conf this season.

Flameres15ParticipantOkay, so a few things I disagree here.
1. As much as everyone likes Alan Anderson, coach Hollins is a defensive coach that likes players to play defense. I personally think Andrei Kirilenko will get the nod over Anderson.
2. Unless Tom sees something uniquely different in Doug McDermott, the Bulls have already said they will start Michael Dunleavy Jr.
3. While I like CJ Miles, I can see coach choosing Solomon Hill as the starting SF.
4. Khris Middleton was impressive on an unimpressive team last year, but I see Jason Kidd choosing a more conventional player like O.J. Mayo (I know he has played terrible the last few years). Or he could go unconvetional and start Giannis Antetokounmpo at point guard and slide Brandon Knight to the 2, with Jabari at the 3 and Ersan Ilyasova at the 4 with Sanders or Henson at the 5.
5. The 76ers are a difficult team to predict, as everyone could be traded in the near future, but I see them going with a youth movement (to lose more games). I see Michael Carter-Williams at the 1, Tony Wroten or K.J. McDaniels at the 2, Hollis Thompson or K.J. McDaniels at the 3, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute or Jerami Grant at the 4, with Nerlens Noel at the 5.

220ParticipantOn number 5 the 76ers have been reporting that they’ll be starting Nerlens Noel at the power forward spot. They view Noel as their projected power forward of the future after drafting Joel Embiid who will be their center once he’s healthy.

Andrew1984ParticipantI am about as big of a fan of Doug McDermott as there is out there and I think in two or three years, Bulls fans will feel guilty of grand larceny by getting him at No. 11 overall. But with Snell and Dunleavey there and with McDermott’s need for learning how to defend in Thibs’ system, my guess would be that it’ll take McDermott a little while to crack the starting lineup. I am, however, rooting for you to be right.

OhCanada-ParticipantWow the East is weak! Should be an interesting year.
Im excited to see how much of an impact the new look Heat can actually make.
The Raptors and Wizards are two young teams that should look to grow and dominate along with the Bulls and Cavs that have all the right pieces to do so but will likely have chemistry issues out the gate that the Raps and Wiz wont.
The Hornets are serious sleepers this year after signing Borne Ready.
Hard to see New York miss the playoffs two years in a row after the overhaul they made with management and with Melo on the roster in such a weak conference.
I also see Detroit pushing for a playoff spot after hiring SVG and with some growth to thier young roster and adding shooting and SVGs gameplan although the veterans in Brooklyn would be tough to beat out as would Indiana’s depleted roster losing Stephenson and George arguably their two best players last year.
