don042488ParticipantIf Joel Embid never got injured and the Cavs took him with the #1 overall pick, would the Timberwolves still deal Love to Cleveland? They already have Pek and Deing, so I don’t think it would’ve made sense. If the Cavaliers didn’t land Love would LeBron came on broad? I feel like LeBron knew in his head that with Wiggins, Bennett, and picks the Cavaliers had assets to acquire another superstar, that’s part the reason why he came on board…It’s interesting how everything fell in place, because if Embid never got injured and was taken #1, I doubt the Timberwolves would’ve bite on a Embid, Anthony Bennett package

XYRYXParticipantI usually don’t like questions like that but this is a legit one here imo.
I think LeBrons decision would still be the same and he would have come there anyway. Not sure Love would be a Cav by now but the Sixers would be a 3rd team who might be involved in a trade here. We all know they were all about tanking and maybe they would be in the mix to get their hands on Wiggins or Embiid if Embiid wouldn’t have been injured.
