    http://www.nba.com/suns/press-release/suns-sign-marcus-and-markieff-morris-extensions?ls=iref:nbahpts

So the Suns just extended the Morris twins’ contracts. I’m not sure about the details, but it’s kind of cool that they’ll continue playing together. The Suns have secured themselves some depth for the future and are cntinuing their very active summer.

Any thoughts on the extensions? How much of a role do you see the brothers palying next season?

I think Markieff is the starting PF and Marcus is their first forward off the bench (along with G. Green). Any chance we’ll see a starting line up with both brothers during the season?

On a side note, I knew they looked the same, but I just noticed they have almost identical tattoos, that’s sweet, but slightly creepy, to be honest.

Phoenix have a huge plan, to make sure their stars don’t foul out.  The Morris brothers is the first part.  The second part is the Dragic brothers, and if Goran has too many fouls he will just wear his brother’s uniform.

The Suns were intending to have two Lopez brothers, but with the hairstyles even bad NBA referees would be able to tell something was up.

The Suns have done well with getting the Morris brothers together, and now keeping them around.  I think the Suns might have had two Van Arsdale brothers a long time ago.  So the Suns have a good tradition there, very family-oriented.

Frye is gone, that should mean more Morris for Phoenix.  Tucker will miss games with suspension early, maybe a bit more Morris then too.

According to Hoopshype feed its $32 million over 4 years for Markieff and $20 million over 4 years for Marcus. Good deal for all parties I feel, after losing Frye and having to pay over the odds possibly for Bledsoe, I guess the Suns want to tie the twins down to save a similar situation.

Sounds way too high to me. Markief should get Marcus money and Marcus should get less. In fact, The Twins are a bit redundant, except Markief is a better rebounder/scorer and Marcus is better from outside. Brotherhood-wise it’s great that they’re on the same team, but they should both be PF’s and probably on different teams.
