halfdecayedParticipantThe Suns have reached an agreement with Eric Bledsoe, I’m told: five years, $70 million on an extension. No options in the deal, straight fiv year deal. reported by Woj via twitter.

TopShottaParticipantRich Paul did a masterful job by not biting on the Suns first offer….

IndianaBasketballParticipantVery risky. There’s no denying Eric Bledsoe’s talent, but he’s unproven. I know the Suns were 28-15 with him last season and 20-19 without him, but that’s still such a small sample size. Throw in the fact he has a history of knee injuries to his mensicus cartilage. I know the Suns training staff is the best in the league, but once meniscus is gone, it’s gone. 5 years $70 million is a lot considering those factors.
Does this affect the Suns signing Goran Dragic next season? He’s going to command at least $12 million himself. The Morris brothers are also up for extension.
With Bledsoe re-signing and the Suns having so much guard depth, Zoran Dragic to the Suns is dead.

rich.homie.mitchParticipantI feel that, the suns messed up on this deal. Though they got bledsoe an amazing player that will guard the deepest position in the NBA right now. If they didn’t sign bledsoe their defense would’ve worsened since IT22 is not a great defener like bledsoe. Even tho bledsoe is a key factor to this team I think they shot them selves in the foot on this one. Goran Dragic is going to be an RFA next season, which means he’s going to what a bigger deal that the Suns might not have money for. If the Suns don’t make the playoffs this coming year this sign would be a dissapointment and the West got tougher with the Pelicans.

IndianaBasketballParticipantLooks like I was wrong. Looks like the Suns are signing Zoran Dragic too. http://www.sportando.com/en/europe/spain/135759/zoran-dragic-informs-unicaja-malaga-he-ll-sign-with-the-suns.html The Suns are overloaded at guard.

tomdukes69ParticipantBledsoe is better than both dragics put together. Another UK/Cal millionaire. And they ain’t gonna resign the twins. Hello

RooneyParticipantStill don’t see why they signed 2 PG’s who started last year and used a first rounder on one this year. They should have tried signing either Andray Blatche or Jordan Crawford. I don’t see IT22 wanting to be a backup when he averaged 20 PPG last year. It would be a smart move if they traded IT22 for a PF or a C.
