Robert $arver and Ryan McDonough must be in a stalemate in what to do with Eric Bledsoe.  He’s getting stale and his expiration date with the Suns must be coming up.  Suns top goal in Bledsoe trade should be acquire a high draft pick in exchange for less than equal value that uses salary space for a short time.  Plan B is getting equal value while filling weakness on team.  Here are some Eastern Conf. teams that might be interested. Grades based on Phoenix getting in return

Boston sends Rondo for Bledsoe.  Grade B.  Rondo would need long term interest in Phoenix

Brooklyn sends Deron Williams, M. Plumlee for Bledsoe, A. Len, Suns 1st round pick.  Grade B +   Suns pair another set of Bros and rehab D. Will.

Cleveland send A. Varejao, T. Thompson, D. Waiters for Bledsoe, Morris Bros,  Grade B.  Mostly an even trade.  Suns get rebounding with Varejao.

Detroit trades J. Smith, G. Monroe (S and T)  for Bledsoe, Morris Bros.  Grade C.    Questionable assets in return in team chemistry or fit.  No draft pick.  Suns take on added 8 mil

Indiana trades D. West, I. Mahinmi, rights to swap picks, and trade exception (D.Granger)         for Bledsoe,  A. Len.  Grade A.  Suns fill in PF weakness with West, Pacer pick is prob top 10

Milwaukee trades L. Sanders, rights to swap pick, for Bledsoe    Grade A -.   Asset exchange favors Milwaukee, swap of pick favors Suns

New York trades A. Bargnani, I. Shumpert, S. Larkin, swap of 2015 1st rd. for Bledsoe and T. Ennis.  Grade B+.  Knicks getting the better asset in the trade, Suns swap for possible top 10 pick

New York trades A. Stoudamire, I. Shumpert,  swap of 2015 1st rd  for Bledsoe, A. Goodwin.  Grade C+ with potential.  Suns swap for possible top 10 and resign a rehabbed Stoudamire to friendly contract. Knicks save 8 mil.

Not trying to be biased to Eric Bledsoe’s value here.  Only value is based on his potential max contract.  I really dont think any team is so interested in paying him 16 mil per year.  Any exchange approve by you the GM???  Your own grades???

I’m very curious why the only one of these trades where you have the Suns giving up a 1st rounder as well as their young center in addition to Bledsoe for the washed up Deron Williams. Some of these trades you really seem to over value Bledsoe and then the next to under value him. All the pressure is on Bledsoe at the moment any way. No teams were willing to give him the money he was looking for and Phoenix is offering him a market deal and he should take it.

I must say, I appreciate the time you put into the structure of these trades but each trade idea seems lopsided in one way or another. If Bledsoe gets traded it will undoubtly be big news though. However I believe if we are to see a sign and trade it will be a shocker, might not even be a Bledsoe deal.

True to being so high on Bledsoe.  Atleast not for 5yr 80 mil.  He’s not the franchise player other players are going to come to play with.  The only problem is Asset players are hard to "land".  Every player is looking to go big market or join other superstars.  Bledsoe is dreaming of Cleveland, Miami, New York or even going back to L.A.  Its crazy that after a team trades you in pro sports that you want to come back to the team that sent you packing.  He will complete his one year of poverty pay in Phx then off to $$$ and bright lights!  No blaming him though.  Its the new reality.

As for the trade possibilities, the best scenario is to land a top ten pick out of this for 2015.  Take on a few bad salaries for this but then trade up for top 5 or top 3.  Suns have 3 potential picks next yr with one as high as 6th.  Get a 4th pick and your competing with 76ers.  So my choice is to do a deal with Pacers, Bucks, or Knicks.  Those teams have high lottery potential.

Why trade him unless he completely acts like a team cancer. Having him play out at least half the season at the QO isone of the best cost effective deals in the League. Besides if PHX trades at his QO price they don’t have to take back salary that they don’t want anyway.

    But….

WHat about some combination of PHX, Boston and Sacramento. The players being Rondo, Bledsoe and McLemore.

    What about McLemore for Bledsoe?

Having Staukas and McLemore is a little redundant and Bledsoe is the pit bull competitor that Cousins wanted Isiah Thomas to be. PHX can win a lot of games and still get something for Bledsoe at the deadline.

IDK why Bledsoe would play for the QO if he could get Philly to offer him a 1 year 7+ million deal and let PHX match that way they would at least have to pay more for his services this year. He could do a two year deal with a player opt out like Lebron that way if he gets hurt he can guarantee being paid in his injury season or just opt out after getting 7+ milion this year. He could do one year deal anywhere from 7 to 15 million and it would be superior to the QO thats like 3 millon. Philly could use him as a asset at the deadline and should consider giving him a lucrative one year deal.

His agent Rich Paul couldnt or wouldnt by design get another team to sign him.  Figuring out the reason why is confusing.  He either wants the max and knows Suns wont do the deal, then bolts for another team or just wants paid the max and stays with the Suns for 5 yrs.  Wondering if $arver offered a deal like Amare was offered which was incentive based.  An actual good idea in his case would offer him a base of 48 mil or go 60 mil over 5 years.  Offer incentive to max if he stays healthy.

As for Kings getting Bledsoe it would be highly unlikely to trade him within division.  TWolves or Jazz would have any chance of getting him because they are in building process and can offer youth without the immediate sting of sucess over Suns

The thing nobody has yet mentioned is that once Bledsoe signs the qualifying offer, which is looking more and more likely…. Suns lose all leverage.  Bledsoe will have the right to veto any trade… If his camp is that set on getting the max then he could block a trade to any team that wouldn’t agree to it.
