PHXSUNDREAMPICK13Participanthttp://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11394176/phoenix-suns-offer-eric-bledsoe-minnesota-timberwolves-kevin-love-deal This deal might have been conjured up after a little to much time in the sun. Suns can offer T.Wolves Bledsoe, Three 1st round picks next year, one as high as 6th next year (from lakers) or unprotected after that. Also, players to offer would probably be A. Len, Morris Bros, A. Goodwin or G. Green. Probably any mix of players to make this deal happen except for Dragic. Cavs offer seems better on the prospect offer and salaries that Cavs are exchanging are really appealing to rebuild with. Like a little noise this time of year from the desert.

dcaseParticipantI’m sure the suns could put together a package that would be competitive. But even if the Timberwolves would be inclined to make a trade with the Suns, the deal would hinge on Love agreeing to it and signing an extension to play in Phoenix. All the sources reporting on this last minute trade offer are failing to take this into consideration. Love is thrilled with the idea of playing with Lebron and would probably balk at the idea of going to Phoenix. Plus if Phoenix had to give up too many assets to give Love, how good would they be and would they make the playoffs. Love’s desire to be traded from Minny is driven by the inability to get to the playoffs. That is all but certain by going to Cleveland and playing in the eatern conference.

PHXSUNDREAMPICK13ParticipantLove is under contract. Can be traded. Bledsoe is not under contract. Thats probably the stickier part of the situation. I hinted that its probably not going to happen anyways. Just a news headline from the network. Cavs have a better offer.

XYRYXParticipantIf the Wolves really consider an offer like that I would be absolutely shocked.
The Suns seem pretty desperate to move Bledsoe. What happened that he seems to doesn’t want to be there? Does he prefer to be a starting PG somewhere else so much more than playing alongside Dragic not to mention the medical staff the Suns have to offer? I really don’t have a good feeling regarding Bledsoes knees longterm and I don’t see a lot of better places anywhere in the league for him.

tuck243Participantand the Wolves will surely get fined if they decided to deal with the Suns instead. This is dealing in bad faith and I’m sure the Suns know this. They’re desperate and should’ve moved Bledsoe as soon as they decided to draft Ennis and sign I. Thomas.

Numbers_CruncherParticipantI don’t necessarly doubt that Phoenix has been making an offer including Bledsoe, but no chance they would wait this long to offer it. Everybody has known about this trade for well over a month. Flip Saunders is more than likely working more magic in order to somehow get rid of JJ Barea.

GrandmamaParticipantWon’t happen. Makes zero sense. Nice try Phoenix.
