I know I always go on about Indiana and this will be my last thread until season starts I promise (unless a trade happens)

If I am Larry the first team I contact is Phoenix and through the pitch of something is better than nothing. If the Bledsoe talks are where they are said to be Larry should offer up Hibbert and 2016 1st rounder for Bledsoe (of near max contract) and try for Len.

Why: Phoenix likes to run the break and the best way to start a break is from missed shots. Hibbert struggled offensively, however with him in the paint he was a league best 41.7% opp fg at the rim. Imagine what Dragic, Thomas, Green and even the two rookies could turn that into.

Why: Indiana needs a PG and some talent to pair with George, basically Indiana gets a more sane version of Stephenson. Len may or may not happen but cant hurt to ask, youthful C.

Next I ring OKC with the idea of offering West and Watson (As a serviceable back-up PG) for Lamb and Perkins expiring contract.

Why: OKC get one heck of a veteran leader and a guy who will really elevate his game come play-off time as with the likes of Adams, Ibaka, Jones and Collison they can keep him fresh for the play-offs. Would open it up for a Jackson/Westbrook back-court.

Why: Indiana would get a guy with a lot of potential still to be found and an ability to score which is something Indiana could really do with. You start Lamb and slide Hill in as your back-up combo guard where he will do wonders again.

Lastly look to move Scola anywhere that would return a young big at preferably PF, I am not sure if its possible for him to return to Houston for Donatas but that would be first phone call.

If not ring clear some cap space by getting a 2nd rounder for him and go sign Blatche who has been showing sign of improvement.

    Indiana:
    C. Mahinmi/Perkins/Len
    PF. Blatche or Donatas/Allen/Rudez
    SF. (George)/Miles/Hill/Copeland
    SG. Lamb/Hill/Stuckey
    PG. Bledsoe/Hill/Stuckey/Sloan

A late lottery pick would be on the cards as well, Indiana could use on a big guy.

Pacers need to just go ahead with what they have now, makes no sense to give up any future first rounders or start chopping the team up. Paul G. Is just going to be out for 1 season based on what we know now. Sure its good for them to add a few players but I think when talks about trading Hibbert and draft picks for bench players it just sound, I mean if u do trade Hibbert I would assume West is next, then u are officially in rebuild mode which leaves the team and organization three steps down from whete they want to be…….2015 is gonna be a bounce back yr for the Pacers anyways

You seem to be severely overestimating Roy Hibbert’s current trade value. Suns would never do this, and if they did, Len and a future first rounder would be completely out of the question.

Also, I still can’t understand how other Pacers fans can be comfortable with the thought of Ian Mahinmi as their future starting center.

Kevin Martin is available at MN, and it wouldn’t take a lot to get him. Maybe a late first round. Would that work for the Pacers? After losing Stevenson, and losing George to injury, and losing out on Marion, they’re going to need some scoring. Just wondering.

Indiana give up the 1st rounder.

Clearly Bledsoe is not happy with what the Suns are offering so it wouldn’t so much be the value of Hibbert (still a defensive force) as it would be getting something for Bleddoe who would probably be frustrated for that year in Phoenix and potentially walk after it.
