European BasketballerParticipantI want to talk here about Greek point guard Nikos Diplaros.
He is 17 years old. He is 6’3" tall. He plays in the Greek 4th Division with the club Esperos.
He is a very tough and competitive player. He plays good defense and he is aggressive. He likes to push the tempo with the dribble and with the pass. He also likes to break down the defense and into the lane and paint area a lot. He is not afraid of the contact and to get to the foul line.
I think he is something of a player that he is modeling his game after Jason Kidd from watching him play. I think this is the player that he is trying to emulate and that he wants to make his game after. Anyway, I think that he is a young point guard that has very good prospects and talent.
If he was American, he for sure would be offered by all the biggest NCAA schools.
Here he is in YouTube:

he_gets_bucketsParticipantHe’s struggling to blow by guys at that level, and he didn’t really show much of a jumper in that video. So I don’t think he’d have much success in the NCAA because all his baskets were coming off drives were he could justtt get past his man, and you can call me a racist if you want, but its just plain fact that American NCAA players are flat out better athletes in terms of raw speed etc. He wouldnt really provide much. He is taking 6-7 steps to get down the court, if you want to play Div 1 it should only be taking 4 max, especially if he is actually 6’2, which he does not look at all. Some of the dudes you post are legit, but this guy doesnt have a shot.

European BasketballerParticipantHe is 6-3, not 6-2. Also, he is playing in a men’s senior league. It is semi pro, not pro, but that is not high school kids or NCAA. Please stop joking. And please stop joking about athleticism. He is extremely fast, quick, and athletic. And in fact against under-17 team USA, the most elite players of all USA he was the fastest and quickest player on the floor.
Stop trolling please.

European BasketballerParticipantI have update for Diplaros here. He is now like a high school senior in USA classification system. He is now playing in the 3rd division in Greece, in the senior men’s semi professional level.
Here is a new YouTube clip of him from this playing in the 3rd division in Greece (semi pro men’s senior league) at age 17:
