    seems like Metta World Peace, aka Ron Artest will now by known as Panda Friend.  He signed a one year deal to play for the Sichuan Blue Whales of the Chinese Basketball Association.  The wackiness of the man formerly known as Ron Artest continues.  I find it pretty funny that a tough, hard-nosed guy from Queens, New York City will now be legally called "Panda Friend."  Gotta love the guy.

     He corrected everyone on twitter and said his new chinese name is "The Pandas Friend" 

    This new name will only last so long, until he is done in China or so. A new name will inevitably come. Can’t wait to hear what it is.

     How does THIS GUY end up with "Peace" and "Friend" in his name? You don’t see Cousins calling himself DeMarcus Maturity.

       Peace and Friend, hard to understand that but even more difficult to comprehend was the NBA’s J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship award that Artest got.

      Bobby Brown scored over 70 points in a game in China, so they must need the defense of Artest there.
