caray12ParticipantJaylen Brown looked really impressive today at The Adidas elite 64 going up against Thon Maker. Jaylen Brown had 34 points and 15 rebounds to lead his team to a victory. I wanted to see Jaylen Brown play and Thon Maker. I was really impressed with Jaylen Brown overall game with his jump shot to his motor on both ends on the court. Thon Maker impressed early in the game but in the second half Jaylen Brown’s team zoned up and Thon Maker couldn’t get the ball as much in the second half. And the zone forced him to some unwarranted 3 point shots. But in the first half he showed his overall game by his post game, rebounding instincts, and mid range jump shot. And I don’t know why Jaylen Brown ranked number 8 in the country because he easily top 3.

Leonard WashingtonParticipantJaylen Brown is a beast. And being from Georgia, I’d have to say he’s the best prospect I’ve seen since Dwight Howard. He has a chance to be really special, and after today I don’t see him having any problems being a 2 in the NBA. His first step, vision, and jump shot were way better than advertised. Would be nice to see UGA keep somei instate talent for once.
Thon Maker’s skill set is as good as I’ve seen on any 7 footer I’ve seen in a long-time. He definitely needs to bulk up as everyone on this site knows, but he’s going to be a top-5 pick whenever he decides to come out. He reminds me of Lamarcus Aldrige but with handles.

ball4life66ParticipantI am hoping to see him stay home but at Ga Tech…I think it is close between him and Derrick Favors but both were stud prospects. JB has really improved his game these past couple years.

AdamJCallejaParticipantI love Thon Maker’s skill set and work ethic but I really have my doubts on him. Even if he bulks up his upper body, positioning relies on lower body strength and naturally he has a narrow waist and no meat in his backside. Seems like he’s going to have a hard time holding his positioning on the offensive and defensive end for a while.
