Glen Rice was named MVP (deservedly so)

the other 4 players named to the 1st team were:

    Otto Porter, WAS

    Tony Snell, CHI

    Doug McDermott, CHI

    Donatas Motiejunas, HOU

Glen Rice shot 45-96 in SL (46.9%)

Otto Porter shot 46-95 in SL (48.4%)

PJ Hairston led the Vegas summer league in shot attempts with 120 (granted he played 7 games)

The next closest who played in 7 games was Isaiah Canaan who had 89 attempts.

As you can see, Hairston is not shy.

Rudy Gobert averaged an amazing 73.1% shooting (19-26) with 11.8 pts, 9.8 rebs, and 2.5 blocks. He headlined the Vegas Summer League 2nd team along with:

    TJ Warren, PHX

    Tim Hardaway Jr., NYK

    Jordan McRae, PHI

    Russ Smith, NO

Under the radar players who really performed well:

    Josh Davis, Charlotte (8.9 pts, 10.1 rebs, 51% shooting, 1.3 apg) – 7 games

Justin Hamilton, Miami (18 pts, 7 rebs on 63% shooting) – 3 games

Courtney Fells, New Orleans (15 ppg on 52% shooting) – 5 games

    Dwight Buycks, Toronto (19.7 pts, 4.3 assists, 2.3 boards, 46% shooting) – 3 games

    Erick Green, Denver (16.6 ppg, 3 rpg, 2.6 apg, 50% shooting) – 5 games

    Elijah Millsap, Philly (11.0 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.8 spg, 1.6 apg, 46% shooting) – 5 games

    Jordan Clarkson (15.8 ppg, 5 rpg, 1.2 apg, 42% shooting) – 5 games

Tony Mitchell, D League All Stars (19 ppg on 46% shooting) – 5 games

    Bernard James, Dallas (13.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 65% shooting) – 3 games

    Guys who played poorly:

Noah Vonleh, Charlotte (9.1 ppg on 28% shooting)

Tyler Ennis, Phoenix (4.2 ppg on 22% shooting)

Deonte Burton, Washington (1.8 ppg on 16% shooting in 17 mpg)

Scott Machado, Toronto (in 55 minutes over 3 games he went 0-9 shooting)

Lamar Patterson, Atlanta (in 25 MPG, he averaged 6 points on 34% shooting)

Jerami Grant, Philly (6.5 ppg on 24% shooting)

Shabazz Napier, Miami (in 28 mpg, he averaged 10.3 ppg on 28% shooting)

I’d like the post more if you included stats other than scoring on it. I know Vonleh was a beast on the boards, which isn’t poor at all.

It doesn’t matter if he averaged 50 rebounds per game – he averaged 9 points on 28% shooting, refused to pass the basketball each time he touched it, and forced bad shot after bad shot.
