GrandmamaParticipant58th overall pick making some noise for Philly in the summer league. Averaging 21 ppg, shooting 50% from the floor, and getting to the line 9 times per. Also has 7 steals in 4 games. Missed only one shot yesterday, 7-8 from the field and 10-10 from the line. Measured 6’4" barefoot, but has a 7’0" wingspan. Could end up making some noise for Philly. Or is he that annual summer league star that disappears? He’s playing really well this summer. Definitely needs to add some weight/strength. Weighed in at 180 lbs at the combine, and looks weak physically.

220ParticipantIt’s often hard to say if summer league success will transfer into the season, but with the 76ers youth I’m sure Jordan McRae will have the opportunity to see if he can duplicate that success when the season starts. At this point I see McRae as part of the wing rotation along with Hollis Thompson, Tony Wroten, and KJ McDaniels.

vulture711ParticipantVERY long and score in bunches….and in a variety of ways. Lots of room on this roster for guys who can ball.
Please make Brandon Davies disappear from this roster and be replaced by Ronalds Roberts, Jr – please I’m begging

burgessfourParticipantboth have a great shot to make this team. McRae plays a postion of need for the Sixers and Roberts just looks like one of those guys that ends up playing 8-10 years in the league because he wants every rebound more than anybody else on the floor.

Mr. 19134ParticipantWhy Ronal Roberts not under contract yet? I assume since he’s not playing in Vegas they saw enough in Orlando. And there was a lot to see the guy is an animal who just get’s after it. He reminds me of the Junkyard Dog.
And I’m surprised with Jordan McRae’s play I wasn’t a fan of him coming out and thought the pick should of been used on a guy like Jahii Carson but I was wrong. He’s been easily the best wing the Sixers had playing in both SL’s.

AwrightAwrightAwrightParticipantFrom all the players who participated in the 2 Summer Leagues for the Sixers, I think they should sign all the ones below:
Nerlens Noel
Casper Ware
Hollis Thompson
KJ McDaniels
Jerami Grant
Ron Roberts Jr.
Jakarr Sampson
Jordan Mcrae
Sean Kilpatrick
Travis Bader (optional)Anyone who’s not on this list SHOULD NOT be signed because they’re all scrubs who can’t even lick the floors that D-League players walk on, if they were paid to do so. So, there you have it !

PhillytheKidI like that list. Just pointing out some of the guys that do well in teh Summer League but really aren’t NBA impact players (lack athleticism or skill).
I don’t think Casper Ware is going to be an NBA player. He’s a good floor general, a NBA-experienced player playing with a bunch of guys that need direction, so he’s displaying confidence and launching a bunch of shots. He’s guiding the young bucks, but he’s nothing special in the NBA. We need a backup PG, I’d prefer Jameer Nelson. Just someone with NBA experience to set an example for the younger guys.
Hollis Thompson – is showing some promise. He’ll make the roster. He probably will play this year because we are tanking, his outside shot looks good, but he’s not an NBA player. Just a step too slow for his size.
Jakarr Sampson – need to see more of him.
Kilpatrick – not impressed.
Bader – has one thing the Sixers definitely lack. We desperately need some shooters on this team.
