so, now that giannis has grown to 6’11 and people were saying he might have to play as stretch PF, jason kidd has a totally different vision(and he knows some about vision..) and says he may play as a PG next season..

last game giannis played 32min and most of them were as a PG. he finished with 15pts-5ast-4turnovers. not bad for his 1st time..

today i’m watching the bucks for the 1st time this summer and giannis is running the PG again.. bucks are losing by almost 20 at the half and giannis numbers are not very good but the thing is that i’m absolutely amazed by his talent.. it’s just amazing how confortable he looks running the PG. if he could develope a jump shoot or a 3pt shot he would be a monster..

i guess that if he played as PG, b.knight would be the SG but it would be amazing a line up with antetokonmpo-khris middleton´parker-henson-sanders

    that would be pretty exciting…

Kidd was throwing it out there that Giannis can handle the ball at times, there’s no way he could be the full time PG, don’t get ahead of yourself. Also it’s summer league, relax.

Position is ambiguous at this point in the NBA. Regardless of who is technically the "PG" both Knight and Giannis would handle the ball at some points.

Greek Freak ! Nobody knew him 3 years ago,now we see a 6’11 19 year old point-forward who can defend multiple positions.Obviously his length is insane, you had his will to defend and you see a bright future for him and the Bucks. As said before Henson,Sanders and Giannis is a lot of length and athleticism to deal with.

I watch him in Summer League and he’s not even a point forward, much less able to be a PG…   Jason Kidd deserves to be fired if he think otherwise…   Dude literally came down and looked for his own shot 90% of the time…  His handle is strictly point A to B and he often turned it over trying to do too much…  His vision was nonexistent…  No clue why anyone would think he’s a Point Forward, but ok…  Lamar Odom high on crack is considered John Stockton compared to "The Greek" out there pushing Point….

It’s summerleague, there’s no chemistry,he has the skills,i think J.Kidd is a good guy to judge that.

I just say that in the hyped Summer League debut of Parker vs Wiggins that Giannis was clearly the best player on the floor and is the same age with arguably even better physical attributes and potential.  He is truly a Freak and I wouldn’t put anything apast him at this point whether it’s starting at PG or C in the future he can seemingly fit any mold.

Giannis won’t be the point guard, but I’m sure the offense will run through him at times.  Kidd will basically have whoever grabs the rebounds bring the ball up (besides Larry).  Having 4 out of 5 starters that can bring the ball up and get the team into an offense is a great problem to have.

Giannis also quietly shot like 37% from 3 in Summer League along with 46% from the field.  He was very good in terms of scoring.  He turned it over a lot, but that’s to be expected when you go from being completely hidden last year to now being the main ball-handler in Summer League, not to mention he’s playing with a bunch of guys that can’t catch a ball lol.

But like one of the other posters said, Giannis looked like the best player on the floor in pretty much every game he played in this summer.  Very exciting to see how he and Jabari develop together, and we get to see Giannis in FIBA too.
