Hector_Reyes_8ParticipantAt 13 mil for 3 years ( little over 4 mil anually ), it’s a good pickup for a decent big who is great on the boards and doesn’t do too much.

Chilbert arenasParticipantHump pretty much taking Bookers minutes (going to Jazz). Guess it’s an upgrade

JordoParticipantso the wiz have Nene and Gortat plus Gooden (played good for them last year) and Humpries now. Not bad at all. Wizards just said screw it, young inexperienced bigs aren’t getting the job done

FearTheStacheParticipantWiz might be having the most underratedly stellar offseason. Nothing too splashy, but improving the team without sacrificing future flexibility

celtics1982ParticipantAs a Celtic fan, he played very well for us last year. A true pro and a great veteran big for your bench. He just competes at a high level all the time. This might not be a splashy move, but its a big pick up.

DolanCareParticipantThey got him on a nice contract which has proven to be an artform lost on most GMs. At the same time though, I would ahve liked to see the Wizards nab a shot blocking and generally defensive minded big guy. Humphries, Nene and Gortat don’t exactly strike fear in opposing guards.

celtics1982ParticipantThe whole league is looking for defensive minded big men that can block shots and be a rim protector. There just aren’t enough of those players. The few still left on the market have major flaws. I know this I’m a Celtics fan and we need a rim protecting big man in the worst way. Be happy you have Gortat, we would love to have a center that can block shots like he does. Trust me you’ll love Hump, he’ll help you win a lot of games. Just a more complete player then a shot blocker like Greg Stiemsma.
