Hey guys been a longtime user of the sure and finally decided to create an account today to get some opinions on Deandre Kane. He’s currently played two games for the lakers summer squad and has been relatively quiet although playing a good amount of minutes. Not to mention guys like Jordan Clarkson really playing well. I’m a big fan of Kane’s and this man dominated college last year. After these first couple quiet games do you think he ends up making the Lakers squad next year or not?

Think he goes to the D league and might get a call up when a team needs an injury replacement. Kane did dominate last year, but he was dominating mostly younger players. Age is Kane’s biggest red flag, as he is already 25 years old.

The Spurs should take a look at DeAndre Kane. He can be a good defender at the guard spots for them. He can handle a bit, and is an active energy guy. They can probably help him with his shot. The Spurs can use some more athletes and I like the idea of he and Kawhi defending from the wings.

Lakers have so many open roster spots it’s very possible he makes their squad but he’s going to have to show out for the next week. Lakers also don’t have a coach yet so who knows what’s going on there.

the lakers have 3 points guards already in nash,lin and marshall and it appears jordan clarkson will be the 4th..so i cant see him starting the season on the active roster…..
he’s strong and has a nba body..but h needs work on his overall game..but some team might pick him up for his defense…

I’m surprised he hasn’t been dominating the summer league though because he’s still older and more experienced than a lot of the other guys, similar to his college days. Hopefully he steps his game up for the last week.
