rickyfutureagentParticipantWhy would Mudiay commit to SMU in the first place if he was trying to paid?
Kentucky would have paid him more than this foreign contract anyway!

FearTheStacheParticipantIf you actually read the news pieces about the situation, you would know that he is going overseas only because it is looking more and more likely he will be deemed academically inelegible to play college basketball. Not a matter of money, just a matter of being able to play.

thunderjerkParticipantThere’s no way I’d let him play in college. Go to Europe, get paid, play against men, hire an agent, do endorsement deals, hire a nutritonist, get your body ready for the NBA, unlimited practice time. There’s nothing to be gained by being a one and done.

tuck243Participantbut I think it’s time for the NCAA to investigate Deion Sanders… No matter what player or "lil bros" he decide to mentor they always get into some kind of trouble… Dez Bryant, Noel Devine, now Mudiay… Everything he touches seem to dissolve for everyone around him, but him… He always have his own agenda no matter what is going on…

mixtape2003ParticipantYea I know he came out that he wanted to support his family
but I think once his eligibility was in question he got an offer or and idea how much he can make and was too good to turn down. The NCAA takes too long with these decisions sometimes just like with the UNC guys last year. I think the Chris Walker situation is a good example of how draft stock can be affected if he had to sit out part of the season.

thatdude44ParticipantI think he should’ve went to kentucky in the first place! Better comp, more exposure and I hate to say but he and his family would’ve been beyond straight even if it was for just one year! At 6’5 and a true point he’ll be a top pick anyways unless he goes overseas and doesn’t put decent numbers…
