zcnumerounoParticipantTo start off, I’d just let everyone know that I’m a Bucks fan, so this is a little bit of a pipe dream. But I would love Lance Stephenson to go to the Bucks. He has worlds of potential and would bring an X-factor to the Bucks not seen in the NBA since the 80s/90s "bad boy" Pistons. I mean, why not swing for the fences especially because the Bucks won’t get Eric Bledsoe? The Bucks have been irrelevant for over 10 years, and this new ownership has shown that they are willing to make some moves. I also believe Jason Kidd would be able to help Lance Stephenson with his off-the-court problems, which is the big thing that’s keeping him unsigned. This would give the Bucks a nice, young core to build around.
PG) Knight SG) Stephenson SF) Parker PF) Henson/Ilyasova C) Sanders
Bench: Wolters, Middleton, Pachulia, Udoh, Giannis, etc.
To be more realistic, I’d say the Pacers and the Bulls are the only teams with a realistic shot of getting him. I believe the Mavericks are out of the running now that they’ve signed Parsons (dumb move by the Rockets IMO). Could anybody score on a Bulls team with Stephenson and Butler defending the perimeter, while Noah mans the paint? The Pacers need to keep Stephenson. He was their best player for a big part of the season, while both George and Hibbert struggled.

celtics1982ParticipantThe Suns have to get rid of a pg, with the Thomas signing. I’d give them a call and see which one they want to keep and which one they would let go of. I’d rather Bledsoe over Dragic, but they are both really good pg’s. Heck I’m not sure the Suns would match a max over to Bledsoe at this point. I feel a pg is a bigger need for the Bucks then a sg. There all this talk of Knight moving to sg and you already have Mayo, who’s an ok sg. So I would say no to a Stephenson deal. Also I wouldn’t want Stephenson on a young team, you don’t want your young player looking up to him. Like I’ve been saying for weeks, Stephenson is a modern day Ron Artest, good player, but a loose cannon that needs a veteran team to keep him in check.
Can you imagine Sanders and Stephenson teaming up for nights out?

FearTheStacheParticipantThe Suns said that they signed Isiah Thomas to be the 3rd guard off the bench. So, they’re probably not trading Bledsoe/Dragic

celtics1982ParticipantDo you really think they would come out and say they now had to trade a guard? Nope they would loose all leverage at that point. Do you really think they are going to pay Dragic 7.5 million, 8 for Thomas and I’d say 12-15 for Bledsoe? No way they spend close to half their cap room on three pg’s. They also just drafted a pg in the first round of this years draft.

zcnumerounoParticipantThose nights with Sanders and Stephenson could get crazy. But that would be quite the show on the court that would sell tickets. I would just hope that Kidd and the staff can tame them lol

festar35ParticipantFirstly I don’t really see Charlotte as a factor for Lance’s services, I think he would fit well no doubt but they have had plenty of time to sort an offer and done nothing.
Since Dallas landed Parsons then I don’t really see anyone but Indiana getting Lance as I am not sure many more offers come his way. Potentially his agent may look for a shorter contract that is only 2 years, so that if he performs he can get paid in 2016 when West and Hibbert comes off the books.
I am still at an impasse when it comes to whether I want to see him back in Indiana as his talent is undeniable, however I can’t help but feel he played a part in that locker room and on court nose dive Indiana took, as it all started as he missed out on the All-Star game.
I would love Lance back for the right price, but I still think Indiana can be a very good team without him as long as PG continues to improve, Hill finds some aggression and who knows maybe Hibbert will have his head on right this season.

phila9012ParticipantI am almost 100 percent sure this wont happen, but the 76ers should bring him in for 4 years at 10 million a year. He is still only 23 and they have a good amount of players who are on rookie contracts for 3 to 4 more years and they need to spend money. I realize his attitude isnt the best for a young team but he could pay off for them since he still is young just like their whole roster and they could all develop together. Again I dont think this will happen but it would be a good signing if the 76ers managment and their coaching staff thought he would be fine in the locker room

IndianaBasketballParticipantWhen the Jazz matched the offer for Gordon Hayward, I just knew the Hornets would offer Lance Stephenson a big deal. Then they went out and gave Marvin Williams $14 million over two years. I don’t know if they have the money now to offer Stephenson the type of money he’s looking for.
Dallas is keeping Chandler Parsons, so they’re out. The Lakers have made quite a few moves and aren’t interested in signing him. The Bulls are about to sign Gasol, which means they won’t have the money either.
This has to be a humbling experience for Lance… It looks like his antics and the rumors coming out of Indiana really did impact his money. The offer the Pacers made will be the best offer he gets… And to be honest, Bird could really play hard ball with Lance and offer him even less since there’s basically no market for him.

TyroberParticipant100% agree. He thought he was about to get a pay day but the market is quickly drying up. Are there any teams left with cap room that would be a good fit for him? I think Atlanta might offer him some money, but if he wouldn’t have acted so childish and idiotic during the eastern finals he would have already been signed.
