I think both teams can actually be quite good next year (obviously the Cavs will), especially if they make some more moves.

For Cleveland, I think they need to trade for Love now, as if they did that, I don’t think there’d be any contention in the east for them. I feel like a trade of Waiters, Bennett, Thompson, and 3? first round draft picks over the next 2 years (I think they have a bunch stocked up) for Love and Martin. I think Birdman will go to Dallas. So the signings I have for the Cavs are Miller, Allen, and a backup big man like Jermaine O’Neal. Next years lineup would be:

    Pg: Irving, Dellavedova

    Sg: Martin, Wiggins/Allen

    Sf: James, Miller

    Pf: Love, Powell

    C: Varejao, O’Neal

For Miami, if they make the right signings, they could be a top 4 seed in the east. I’d look to throw big money at Bledsoe, and I think Phoenix would match it (but who knows with all the other point guards they have now). Guys they should and realistically can sign are Deng, Beasley, Ed Davis, and Turner. A potential lineup could be:

    Pg: Cole, Nappier

    Sg: Wade, Turner

    Sf: Deng, Granger

    Pf: McRoberts, Beasley

    C: Bosh, Davis

I agree, but the Heat are one injury from being a lottery team. If wade or bosh goes down, they are doomed. Im also not sold on the fact they need to throw big money at Bledsoe. I love his games but i dont think it really fits well alongside Wade. Both are great defenders, not great shooters or passers. Too similar if you ask me.

What they should do is try to get Deng, Parsons, or even Monroe if they could.
